I recently sold my property through Taylor Millburn and can highly recommend them.I had excellent communication and feedback from Georgia and Mel, in the after sales team. Although it was a very long drawn out process due to a very slow solicitor at the top of the chain they worked extremely hard to get the sale finally through?Well done TM.

Emailed to view a property, got several calls very quick. Had a viewing in the evening, loved the house and straight away gave feedback to view in daylight. Sent several emails and made calls, no messaging service and no response. Obviously had an offer so they were not interested in responding to us. Appreciate the place might have had offers but a courtesy call or response to emails would have been professional.

Josh and Jess were amazing throughout our mortgage process. Would definitely recommend.

The after sales have been absolutely amazing. Georgia has been there for us every step of the way, any questions or help that we needed she would respond instantly. She is a great asset to Taylor Milburn, a little shinning star!

Bad experience with this agency. We made an appointment for a viewing at 5.30 last week. We got there around 5.15 because we didn't want to be late, we waited until 5.30 but no one showed up. So we decided to call the responsible person, no one picked up so we called the office. After making several phone calls that no one answered to, we were disappointed and was about to leave. Then eventually some one called back, they informed us that their colleague was on the way, but was stuck in traffic near chelmsford. OK, we were willing to wait because we drove for two hours from Norwich, but 10 minutes later they called and told us that due to the bad traffic their colleague was going to turn around and have to cancel the viewingI believe they may have forgotten my appointment and made excuses. Not a pleasant experience.

The team at Taylor Milburn have been faultless from start to finish! We have been very impressed with the service we have received and want to say a special thank you to Mel and Jamie.Our first encounter with Taylor Milburn was when we went to view a few properties that were marketed by them and found one we really liked - that we have now bought!When we first decided to put our house on the market Jamie was excellent and came to our home to have a look around and give us an idea of how much we can expect to sell our house for. He was very well informed and professional. He took pictures of our house and made our home look very spacious, showing our house to it’s full potential. The photographs were way better than other photographs I have seen from other estate agents as the angles were captured to maximise the space. The listing of our house was very detailed and thorough and we were kept informed throughout the whole marketing process.Once viewings started we were constantly kept in the loop by either Jamie, Mel or other members of the Taylor Milburn team. They gave us detailed feedback from the potential buyers and always kept us well informed throughout the process. I was impressed with the number of viewings they were able to arrange in a short space of time and we sold the house in just a couple of weeks. Even with lockdown and Covid-19 the team still worked super hard - if not harder than usual to keep the sale and purchase process moving and we manage to complete pretty soon after lockdown restrictions were lifted. Whenever there were slight delays out of our control Mel was always on the other end of the phone keeping in touch and doing everything she could to speed the process along for us.We couldn’t fault them at all! They all went above and beyond and we have been extremely impressed with the service we have received. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future and will be recommending them far and wide! :) Thank you again Mel, Jamie and the team and Taylor Milburn!

People say house buying is stressful. And mine certainly was. As a first time buyer and buying from someone with no onward chain I thought the process would be simple. But with agents, Lenders, and what I thoughts was an unsolvable issue we managed somehow to get the sale over the line. At one point I’d given up on it happening. The seller has given up. But Mel at Taylor Milburn didn’t, and through their constant work and liaising with both solicitors they kept pushing and with an indemnity policy eventually in place. We’ve managed to exchange and complete after 9 months. I can’t explain how stressed is become as a resolution looked for many months impossible with my lender and the agent failing to agree on issues that seemed impossible. BUT we got There and I’m so happy.

Wish I could not give them this one star either. A couple of days ago I reached out to them to view a property on castle road in Colchester. This property was available for rent. I talked to them and got a viewing booked for 6.30 pm for Friday 21st April 2023. I got an e-mail confirmation on Thursday from Danny saying they are delighted to confirm my appointment. I am based in west London. On Friday 21st April, i pushed some important work commitments and meetings to finish work early and travel to Colchester to view the property. I called them at 3.57 pm. I mentioned that I have a viewing for the property at 6.30 pm so just want to confirm we are going ahead with that before I set off from London. The lady on the phone said yes its all good, and that my viewing is going ahead and that they are looking forward to meet me at the property. I hit the road at 4 pm, drove for more than 2 hours through mad rush hour weekend traffic all the way from west london to castle road Colchester. And I found no one there. I called their office. No response. I opened my email. And in there there is an e-mail from Danny received at 5 pm saying ‘Your viewing appointment booked for 21st April 2023 at 06:30PM has been cancelled. If I can be of any further assistance to you please do not hesitate to contact me.’ They cancelled my viewing 1.5 hours before despite me having confirmed with them an hour before over the phone that the viewing is going ahead. They had zero professionalism or decency or shame to even give me a phone call and inform me that viewing has been cancelled. Atleast that way I would’ve turned around half way and saved some time and fuel. I had to drive more than 4 hours return journey for absolutely nothing. Looks like they have zero respect or sympathy for people. Extremely unprofessional attitude and a lack of respect and basic common sense to atleast give someone a phone call if you are cancelling their appointment 1.5 hours before the appointment time when they have just confirmed with you over the phone that the viewing is going ahead.

Excellent, Taylor Milburn was recommended to me by a few friends as they had all had great experiences with them. They sold my flat quickly when it didn’t sell last year. The process went really smoothly and I will definitely be recommending them again to my friends and family.
