I met Sheila about 6 years ago. After returning to the UK, I was looking for an Iyengar Yoga teacher and heard about Sheila from various practitioners and teachers in Oxford. She has an excellent reputation and luckily I found her.Sheila has a deep knowledge of Iyengar yoga, in her own practice as well as in her teaching. Her studio reflects this.Yoga Shala is perfectly equipped with everything a student needs, even some beautiful wooden horses made by Sheila's son.It is a large airy, bright space, always warm in the winter and full of natural light.Classes vary from Beginners to Intermediate, Restorative classes as well as Teacher's classes; courses on Philosophy, pranayama and more...The studio has a welcoming, professional atmosphere, - a wonderful place to practice and learn with , in my opinion, one of the most experienced teachers in the UK.

No matter your age and experience and why you want to do yoga this is a place to go! Teachers with deep knowledge of yoga practice and philosophy and human body. From my experience these don't come as a package often.

Sheila is an amazing and highly experienced yoga teacher. The studio is superbly equipped with everything needed for a yoga class, it is clean, light and airy. It is friendly and the yoga classes are great.

I have attended Sheila's classes for 15 years and find her great knowledge and experience invaluable. A teacher of teachers.She operates from a wonderful light filled studio which has an aura of peace and tranquility.To me the whole experience of her classes over the years helps me in all aspects of life.
