The Ginger Cat House Rescue
Most impressive well-run rescue where cats are cared for with much love, always following their specific needs..The aim is to ensure they are healthy and prepared for life with a new home. After a home checks process, the rescue has an incredible ability to match right cats with right homes!

Disappointed that the rescue would not let me adopt from them because apparently a 3 bed house is not sufficient space for a cat to join an adult, a child and a cat that already lives there and being assumed that my life is too busy to have another pet without the rescue even physically stepping foot in my house or speaking to me outside of email communication. They can have three stars for their professional on email but it’s put me off wanting to adopt from a rescue. They shouldn’t complain about cats needing homes when there are homes out there being overlooked by ridiculous standards.

I have been volunteering at the rescue for the last 5 months. I love looking after the cats there & do as many shifts as I can. June cares deeply about each & every cat that she can take & has to make daily difficult decisions to accommodate requests to surrender. The welfare of ALL cats is taken into account. June will do her utmost to attend to the physical illness of a surrendered cat or kitten. Health issues are not always known in advance of a surrender. The cost of vet fees are enormous & can be £1000 for one day of care to a surrendered cat. I am also involved in fundraising events and each & every penny is needed for vet care to ensure they are in a good health condition before adoption. I would highly recommend adopting from The Ginger Cat House rescue.

Wonderful rescue centre run by some amazing people doing fantastic work. We attended one of their regular cat cafe days where you can pop by and enjoy an afternoon of mingling with some of the resident cats and chat with the volunteers.Snacks and drinks are also provided, along with a tour of their facility where you get to see some of the new borns and litters that they are looking after until they are at the right age for adoption.Overall, it was a great experience and really good to see these guys in action.Highly recommend supporting The Ginger Cat House Rescue. Thanks guys!

I came here for the Cat Cafe and the cats are beautiful and well looked after. And more importantly they vet homes and people, so the cats and kittens can be placed with the most suitable of homes for the cats or kittens needs. Also they never give up and do their up most best to give the Resident cats lives the best life possible, they never give up on the sick ones either and some come into the rescue in horrific states or when they've been very mistreated.

Came here with my family for the cat cafe.Brilliant and friendly volunteers, who are very passionate about their cats. The tour of the kittens upstairs and resident cats downstairs was fantastic.I fell in love with Lizzie, one of their long term residents who came and sat on my lap for fuss and cuddles. You can tell all the cats are well looked after and cared for by how relaxed they all are. They're entirely self funded, so please donate if you're able to, as it will always be much appreciated. The link to donate to this amazing charity is on their Facebook page, where they also post regular updates of the cats they're helping. If you can book a ticket for the cat cafe, I highly recommend doing so.

I adopted my boy from June 5 years ago as a kitten. When he became poorly with a recurring blocked bladder this year,June offered to refer him to her vets and pay a huge part of his vet bill.Without her help I would've had to put my cat to sleep. He has now recovered and is doing really well.June puts all the cats first, old and new. Such an amazing lady and a well run rescue,I wouldn't go anywhere else
