In a city filled with good jewellers, its tough to stand out - but I think that the people at this place at the far end of East Street do just that. I have been in with a few different requirements, mainly repairs to date and they have responded so well. Their selection of new and second hand jewellery is also superb. Good prices, good workmanship and excellent customer service. The Jewellery & Watch Co is my new ‘go to’ jewellers in Chi !!

This shop is run by the nicest people. They also have the best range of Seikos I have ever seen, albeit I purchased a stunning Elliot Brown watch during my visit. Will definitely return for future watch and jewellery purchases.

Poor customer service. Sold second hand jewellery and promised a bank transfer which did not arrive on the promised date. Had to chase to receive money which was very unprofessional.

I HAVE HAD TO POST ONE STAR AS REVIEWS CANNOT BE POSTED WITHOUT ANY STARSI deposited a Seiko watch with this shop for repairs on the 18th September 2021 and 6 weeks later collected the watch only to find that they had repaired it with a movement that did not provide the same functions as the original movement. the watch was returned the same day for rectification works. after about another 4 weeks I returned to the shop to ascertain its progress, only to receive a point blank refusal from a sales assistant to contact the workshop. Almost 12 weeks since I first deposited the watch I collected the watch only to find that the crown (winder) did not match the watch. After numerous E mails to the Owner/Manager requesting their proposals to rectify the problem of their poor quality works, now over 4 months later after first deposited the watch, I have still not received a reply.The only solution to resolve their poor quality work is to send the watch to the repair department of Seiko and claim the additional costs from The Jewellery and Watch Company. If necessary in a Court of LawI certainly would not use this Company again,

Even though I bought my watch online, staff were very happy to re size it, which turned out to be tricky as the pins wouldn't budge and they had to take a further link out when I went to pick it up. Fantastic service at a goo price. Would highly recommend and will def be back!

I'm overwhelmed with the kindness of Rebecca & Clayton. My wife and I have been happily married for seven years. I proposed all that time ago with a ring that was not what I would have wanted but time & money was not on my side back then (we had a whirlwind romance). This weekend, thanks to the time that we were afforded at the Jewellery & Watch Company I put that right. Not only did we find exactly the right engagement ring and complementary wedding ring but as Rebecca could also see how much the original rings meant to us sentimentally she had them restored with sparkling result. The original ring is now being worn by my wife as a sort of eternity band (sitting at the bottom of the new rings on her finger). It's given the original wedding ring new life and is something we hadn't even considered. The new rings were re-sized within 24 hours to meet our timeline whilst Rebecca also found a way to make it all work for us financially too. We'll be visiting Chichester whenever we need new pieces of jewellery from now on, they'll be our trusted destination. What wonderful people & what a warm and welcoming jewellers. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

I popped into The Jewellery & Watch Company to replace the battery on my Rotary Watch, the service I received was warm, welcoming and genuine. The gentleman behind the counter noticed my watch strap pins where weakened and recommended I replaced them. On a busy Saturday, my watch was replaced in just over an hour and at a great price! I ended up having a lovely conversation with him on some of the watches on offer and have found a great gem of a shop within the city which I will now be using for all my watch needs!

After a recent experience, I would advise customers to double think their expectations of post-sale and service customer service and support from this shop. I have felt let down and disappointed from my previous experiences with this team. I find their lack of clarification and transparency has caused unnecessary stress and anxiety when dealing with this shop, therefore I would advise people to think twice about their expectation of customer service and support before purchasing from this shop, possibly being aware that they need to decrease their expectations, as there is only so much a 'gesture of goodwill' can support. I am sure the brands they represent would further express disappointment with the representation of their products. I would also urge customers to visibly confirm the condition of their items for service before and after receiving support from TJWC.
