What a find Hollies Haberdashery has proved to be. An amazing array of wonderful fabrics, wool and notions, extremely helpful staff and friends made in the workshops.If you haven’t visited yet or used their excellent online service you really should, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve just completed another project and was appreciating the feel of the lovely, quality, viscose fabric I’ve used and decided it was worthy of a review and recognition of Hollies Haberdashery. I love visiting the shop, it’s always packed with new lines as well as ‘go to’ plain coloured craft cottons in every shade. More often than not, I order on line as I subscribe to the weekly newsletter that drops in my inbox on Fridays. It’s full of inspiring ideas and temptation. I live close enough to save on postage and stroll down to collect my order which gives opportunity chat about the project with the staff there, who are as keen on sewing and knitting as their customers.

Wonderful shop with the best staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Always helpful with guidance and suggestions. Their stock of fabric, haberdashery, yarns etc is fantastic. Prices are really good too. Free parking is also a bonus. Highly recommend.

I love this shop ❤️ The variety of fabric types, colours and patterns is amazing. They stock bolts to fat quarters - threads, fasteners, interfacing, quilt batting, sewing tools …… the list seems endless. Sarah and Alex are so helpful. Then there’s the workshops and socials!!! I love the Friday Fix email telling of new stock or new projects to join with. And for those times when I can’t pop to the store, they post out my order!

Had the fabric I needed for my quilt at a great price. My order arrived quickly and beautifully wrapped, which made it feel special. Online chat is really helpful too. Fabulous service all round, thank you

I went to the sewing class for the Cielo dress yesterday. It was fantastic and I now have a dress that fits me perfectly and the pattern and skills to make many more at home. I am very much at the beginning of my sewing journey and felt very well supported and helped during the class. The facilities and instruction were excellent. Cannot wait to sign up for my next class. I have just started to learn to sew and I went with my pattern in hand and needed fabric and few other bits. The lady that served me was so helpful and looked at my pattern and my personal measurement that i had taken and advised on how much fabric i needed and helped me colour match tread and was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Stress free shop for me as was out of my depth.I will definitely shop there again. Good prices too.

Beautiful fabrics from Hollies Haberdashery, my order arrived quickly and was beautifully packaged with a lovely keepsake postcard. I can’t wait to get sewing with my Tilda Bloomsville collection fabrics! Communication was great and the website was super easy to use with a massive selection of well priced fabric

Really speedy on line shopping experience, love going in to the shop when I get the time to go to Newcastle. Fabulous choice of fabrics and wools to name a couple of things but it's heaven for sewing enthusiasts. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, please support small businesses xx
