I can honestly say I am well and truly gutted cardiff Gate has always been my favourite place to eat a carvery but on mothers day I was shocked that it wasn't busy right up until we got our food it really wasn't great the first time I have had a bad meal there

Loved going here. No roast parsnips. Roast potatoes not Chrisp as they were. Booked table. Cueing beforehand to get ahead. Would still go back to try again. It was always the best. But very busy.
