We found this place Saturday evening for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, had a mushroom starter, lasagne and the cheesecake. My partner had the bruschetta, carbonara and the profiteroles, and we got a pizza for our child. The staff were amazing. If we ever come back to Blackpool we will come back!!

We love La Fontana! Everytime we are in Blackpool, we try to make La Fontana for dinner at least once! We first visited in 1993 and have loved it since then. The food is second to none. Fresh, tasty, homemade dishes with a welcoming atmosphere and brilliant cheerful staff. Knowledge and years of experience is king in the restaurant game and these guys know their stuff. You can book the restaurant or you can do what we did and just walk in. We knew the opening time, so we made sure we were there at few minutes after 5pm. We were welcomed like long lost family and ushered to our table by Joe. A quiet table towards the back of the restaurant against the wall. Perfect. We ordered two pints of Peroni, which duly arrived and tasted great, very refreshing. I love the minestrone soup, and Stevie had the mozzarella rounds. We chatted to Joe and Samantha who run the restaurant now, a lovely pair! We ordered another 2 Peroni's and had our mains. I had the lasagne and Stevie had the carbonara, both portions were huge and utterly delicious. For dessert we had Affogato with Amaretto liqueur. It was awesome! We also had a digestivo - a shot glass filled with Limoncello which was utterly delightful. All in all a great night, and for both of us to eat our fill it was £110 including drinks and a tip. Without the drinks and tip it would have been round about £30 cheaper but who doesn't leave a tip? It's a great place and we can't wait to go back. It's quite honestly a hidden in plain site gem! The interior design of the restaurant is worth seeing! Feels like you are eating your dinner in a taverna in Italy, somewhere secluded and private. Wonderful place, it has always been like this. Go visit. You won't be disappointed.

What a great little place, the service in here was amazing, all the staff were so friendly and so attentive, you were never waiting more than a few minutes if you wanted something. The starters were fabulous too, would definitely recommend.

Bella Italia was fully booked, so we came across this wonderful family run Italian restaurant.Several Italian customers came and went, which told volumes as the authenticity of the place.Starters came out quickly and wolfed down by our party, and although we had to wait a little while for our mains, every dish was full of flavour, and the homemade pasta was full of body and taste.When we come back to Blackpool, we will definitely call in again.

Absolutely amazing meal! The steak was like nothing else, the sauce and vegetables were fantastic. The staff are so friendly and the wine was wonderful. Ive been tonitaly many times and felt like I was back there. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely restaurant in Blackpool. The ambience is cool as well. I loved my meal. It was really tasty.I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff are also extremely friendly and polite.The waiting time for drinks and meals are fair. You don't have to wait for long to eat and you can also walk-in without making reservations.

By Far The Best Italian Restaurant, I Have Ever Been to in My Life.Fantastic Amazing Friendly, Caring & Helpful Staff, Who Gave Me a Pillow for My Painful Back to Help Me to Sit At The Table. As I Hurt My Back Before I Got to Their Beautiful Amazing Italian Restaurant.The Food was Fabulously Delicious & Heavenly Out of This World.I Highly Recommend This Place to Everyone who Loves Italian Food, As You Definitely Will Not Find a Better Italian Restaurant in My Opinion in Blackpool.Beautiful Interior of Inside The Restaurant too.15 Out of 10 Rating From Me.I will will Definitely be Going Back There Again Next Time I Visit Blackpool Again.Thanks to All The Wonderful Amazing Staff for a Beautiful & Truly Magical Enjoyable Evening With Lovely Heavenly Delicious Food, At Their Fabulous Restaurant Tonight With My Best Friends.I Will Be Counting Down The Days Now to The Next Time, That I Will Be in Blackpool.
