Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital

My son had blood tests in December 2021. In May 2022 , the referring consultant still has not received the results, despite may phone calls and emails. I am sure that this is not the usual level of service, but it is highly frustrating. Trying to contact the pathology department is really quite difficult, as they phone invariably isn't answered, and they don't call back. (Covid can't be used as an excuse for ever.... ) . We are now trying to get either the bloods redone or a refund so that we can go elsewhere. Next stop Managing director

I chose the Nuffield based on previous positive experiences. Sadly, this recent visit, was not positive. My initial consultation was encouraging. During this meeting I provided the consultant a CD with relevant images to assist with diagnosis. I waited 6 weeks for the prescribed injection under ultrasound. Unfortunately this treatment was unsuccessful. This wasn't the issue though. During that 6 week period the CD containing my personal data was misplaced, with blame being passed from one department to another. The secretary involved was somewhat abrupt in written communications. The images were eventually found following 2 visits, several phone call and emails on my part. All hassle and time for me.A 7 minute follow-up call involved me reporting that the injection hadn't helped and saw me being referred to an external bike fit specialist cost £110. This was on top of the initial fee.I did not feel like the service I received was in-line with the fee I paid.

My initial consultation with Dr Rod Jacques was excellent. 4 . months later and in considerable pain I am still awaiting my procedure. Unbelievably poor communication and organization so expect to wait for several days for a response to an email and be told at the last minute that you need to have a COVID test at the hospital or you will need to re-book. Just one thing after another - read the other reviews on this site, the 3 star rating is deserved.

Had many visits now including a surgical procedure and from the first time i entered the hospital 5 years ago to my most recent procedure i have nothing but positive words. Consultants and outpatient staff are all fantastic and will always go the extra mile. Would recommend.

After struggling to get an appointment with other Private Hospitals for my condition I approached Nuffield Hospital in Cheltenham and from the initial contact to finally being discharged I can honestly say I made the right choice.The service and care from all staff right through to my Consultant Mr Keith Poskitt was second to none. I was made so comfortable during my stay and the way all the procedures were done was stress free and thankfully successful.My first choice should I need any form of treatment again..PG

I’ve written this review twice and it keeps being deleted. My experience from start to finish was completely unacceptable for private healthcare. Even having problems now months after surgery. Go elsewhere!

Came here for a specialist consultation and radiology. Both experiences were good. Appointment took 2 weeks to get a slot. The doctor was on time. The facility is old but it was clean. Free coffee from a machine at the lobby. Administration was quite straight forward with my company health insurance.

Just poor.Called 3 hospitals for procedure information and costs, this “shower” were the worst.Return calls never made, lost emails, abrupt and unhelpful staff just who were not interested.I strongly recommend you try elsewhere.

The reception is a bit rude, I'm just ringing to ask how many visitors are aloud in to visit.she just say one and put the phone on me.very very rude time I rang 1.10 pm Thursday 31/8/23.
