Sagat Guitar

Sagat teaches my 6 year old son classical guitar (although my son thinks everything is rock). The lessons are always fun and inspiring and Sagat's relaxed approach and world-class musicianship make every class a must attend event. We feel very lucky to have someone of Sagat's calibre as his teacher.

I've had lessons with Sagat for more than 4 years now and in that time he has helped me develop into a much better musician. We've worked on everything from metal to jazz and Sagat's teaching has been consistently effective in everything we've done. With his help, I've gone from knowing almost nothing about music theory to understanding and utilising more complex concepts in my playing.

Excellent teacher. My 7yr old Grandaughter had never played the guitar before and Sagat made learning easy and fun.

Excellent guitar teacher, so great to work with at improving my understanding of playing guitar and of music overall. The student-teacher communication is present every lesson, songs I chose to learn always became case studies with resources written by Sagat that went into easy to understand detail. Great teacher with great understanding.

I studied guitar with Sagat for several years prior to going to university. During that time I learnt how to play grade pieces as well as improve my skills not only as a guitarist but as a musician. Being taught music theory such as scales and key signatures as well as how they relate to songs has proved very useful towards creating my own music and also towards my music production degree. I would highly recommend Sagat to anyone who is looking to start playing or just generally want to improve their guitar and musical ability.

Sagat has taught our daughter for a number of years now, she is making good progress and Sagat has been very patient and calm with her.
