In 1999 we opened Skandium. A retail emporium promoting modern Scandinavian design. A vast undertaking, bringing together many 100s of product, the great and good of Scandinavian design. From furniture to lighting, rugs, kitchenware to decorative items, books and much more. Our ambition was to offer the 'United Nation of Scandinavian Design'.As to our IT requirements, we had to find someone who was able to understand our speciality, willing to serve a Start-Up of such complexity. All retail, contract, B-B services had to work seamlessly. As a Start-Up we had to learn on the job but luckily we had Lucidica, knowledgable, supportive and there for us at all hours.
