I have been a customer at Studio 11 multiple times before, before having this experience that caused me to swap hairdressers. I went in with faded red hair, and just asked that some red bits were kept with a darker brown root. The lady that did my hair proceeded to put black dye on my hair. This is not what I wanted- the red was barely visible and I left feeling really self conscious. I feel the stylists do what they opt as best, rather than consulting with the customer. After reaching out, it was explained this isn’t what I wanted within days of this particular appointment. Initially I was offered to return for it correcting. This changed when my female stylist changed what she said, stating I requested black dye (which isn’t true and what caused so much upset). When getting colour applied which I thought was brown, she TOOK SOME DYE out of the customer next to me who was having a black root touch which is when I realised what colour was already applied all over my head. However, I was then told that the lady did a consultation with me. I was shown no colour swatches, as I believed I was having the same colour as my last visit (brown roots). From the brief conversation I had before being sat down I thought that what I wanted had been understood correctly. I have come here before, as you can see on the studio 11 Instagram and had my hair done before in a way I loved. They’re very contradictory in trying to give a resolution to an issue, which if was achieved I would’ve been happy with. Just to mention my hair is blonde so when regrowth came through with the black I didn’t want it was really hard to deal with (see photos). To note, my hair was done in May time and the images are after regrowth.I have been to other stylists for this correcting and lifting out, which they agree what was done was badly executed and a bad experience, also taking a lot of time to restore. When doing my hair I was also asked if I want a ‘splodge of dark on top or streaks bits’ which to me seemed unprofessional, and if the stylist didn’t want to do my hair how I asked. At no point when I initially came in to book was I told what I wanted wasn’t achievable. I left the salon with initiative to reach out, as whilst I was there I felt uncomfortable to comment on how it wasn’t what I wanted. Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience, and was met with contradictory responses to my problem

Fabulous as always, I always ask for Jan and he’s amazing but I had Lisa for an updo and I loved it. Great service and customer service almost always. Brilliant prices too:)

He's a miracle worker and especially because I have thick Asian hair, he's so good and knows how to work with it. Thankyou to Paul and the team for everything! 10/10 service everytime.Their services are always affordable and transparent, Paul has never ripped me off and has always outlined clearly how much he will charge.He is gentle with my hair and always manages to make my hair look beyond my expectations

The best hairdressing salon in Huddersfield. Jan and his team are so friendly. No need to make an appointment as you can just turn up. They have rectified a lot of other hairdresser issues. They are the cheapest in town at £12 for one service which is buildable. If you need to colour your hair them go for a stand test a few days beforehand. My daughter has had balliage colour and paid £55 for colour and blow dry, she was so impressed that she only has her colour done there - see pics - just check with them for pricing first. Roots colouring is only £24 for colour and blow dry. Go and have a chat with them about what you want. They do guys hairstyles and girls. Jan and his team work very hard working from 9 until after 7 pm if a customer comes in before 7pm.

I did protein treatment a couple of months ago, I am very happy with the result, I did colouring and highlighting before which was fantastic.Good prices great service very helpful staff.Berkcan 100% recommended

I leave in Leeds and I paid loads of money to have the haircut I wanted but none of them seem to have manage to do it. Someone from work mentioned about this salon in Huddersfield and I went and tried it. I met Jan and explained to him what I wanted and he manage to do exactly as I wanted. I am a very happy customer and I have been going there for 4 years now and never disappointed. I must say that they have a polite and pleasant team and a good one.

My hair was cut, roots done & finish was beautifully done by Carla .Have used this salon since it opened.I wouldn't go anywhere else .

Went today for the first time, popped in at 5 on the of chance they would be open as I just wanted a quick haircut/trim.Paul was lovely and smiley, really friendly and nice to talk to. He made sure I was happy with what the end result would be before we started. He straightened, cut and styled my hair. I was more than happy with the result it looked amazing. It took around 30 - 40 minutes which was great too.He is very professional guy and I would 100% be back. Its really reasonably priced at 15 pounds for everything Paul did. Thank you so much.
