Honiton Tech Shop

Fantastic service as usual. Took my phone in to have the ear speaker looked at as the volume had reduced to being inaudible. It was fixed quickly and without charge! I don’t take my tech anywhere else…

I did not realise that Honiton Tech Shop sold phones so was highly delighted to find the new Samsung flip phone there. Luke was wonderful and super helpful in transferring data. We are lucky to have such shop in Honiton. Luke made my buying experience a total pleasure. Thank you.

The Tech Shop is my Go To computer shop for all my digital problems, the owner is always helpful, vey quick and always resolves my problems. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody that needs help.

I took my laptop in because the charger wouldn't stay in. Very unfriendly, he said he wouldn't touch it as it was water damaged. I told him it hadn't been near any liquids. He repeated it's water damaged and I need a new laptop. I took it elsewhere it was easily repaired and no sign of water damage.

I was happy to simply leave a one star without going into detail, but after receiving a spiteful and rude message from the owner I thought I should write something. Everytime I have been in the shop to enquire about a repair or buying a product, I have found the person at the counter incredibly rude and uninterested in helping. Several times after quoting me huge prices for repairs, I've had items fixed for half the cost using the same parts (down to the make and model number of the parts, literally exactly the same parts).If you need a reason not to go here, look no further than the attitude shown in replies to negative reviews, this is the exact attitude you get in the store

He fixed my phone perfectly and persuaded me to buy a magnetic protective case. The phone fell out of the case snd cracked again. When phoning to ask if he’d again fix my phone at a cheaper rate, I was advised that it is my responsibility despite the fact that he no longer sells these cases. Not happy that a would be loyal customer was treated this way and will have to pay another £80

Had no issues with the owner, I felt what I traded in he gave fair prices I think those who give very bad reviews do not know the tech industry and what these kinds of businesses can sell or fix. When your independent you can't sell the same prices as some power houses I think more people should be open minded to pay for the personal service then just the device.
