I have contacted Ray when we got our puppy as companion for our older dog and some behavioural issues arising from the situation. Ray gave us tons of priceless advice and tips to make our dogs get along and create harmonious , safe household. We followed all advice given and both our dogs made massive improvements. I spoke to Ray today about several problems I've been having with our puppy. I have spoken to several people about this already, but Ray's advice was the most helpful and clear. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and has given me lots of strategies to try. He was very friendly and went out of his way to help with all my questions. I'll certainly go to him for help in the future again should we need it.I have spoken to Ray again exactly a year later about other issues with our dog. Again, he took the time to explain resource guarding and how to try and manage the problem. We have a 20 month rescue from the streets of Bahrain who had some reactivity issues (as well as some other foibles) and had tried a previous trainer who's approach did not suit a rescue.What we really appreciated about Ray was his ability to tailor his recommendations to the specifics of our dog and I strongly get the impression he would be able to do so for all different breeds and backgrounds.He is very calm and seems also to understand the dynamic between owner and dog in order to help both change.A pleasure to work with also, we would thoroughly recommend you give Ray a try.Thanks Ray!

Saw Ray with my Greyhound Dave this am. Dave has a habit of barking at other dogs on the lead. Ray has a very professional and reassuring way about him which instantly put Dave and I at ease. He gave me some really simple tips to refocus Dave’s attention away from the other dogs and back on me & by the end of our session we had made some real progress. Very very happy!! We asked Ray to help with our German Shephard puppy as it's our first time raising a dog with a young child. This was our first time using a dog behaviourist and we couldn't have asked for better. Ray was fantastic at explaining, giving guidance and demonstrating how best to train the puppy. We've also learnt how to improve other areas which our older yellow labs never grasped, such as how to have a designated place" for them to lay and rest if out and about in a busy area. So whether you've had dogs before or not I highly recommend giving Ray an hour and you'll find it incredibly useful.Ray also followed up with written instructions on everything he covered which was a lot so we're grateful to have that to jog our memory. With a six month old puppy that we were having some issues with we looked around for some help... We didn't know really what approach we wanted from a trainer but we knew what we didn't want (A militant hard-line one!). We then found Ray online and spoke a few weeks ago to book an appointment. We couldn't meet for a while but in the meantime he gave us some helpful advice and a couple of things to practice in preparation for the session. They seemed like small things but actually stood us in good stead for today... Our first session with our puppy!! After only a few minutes we were really amazed at how responsive she was to Ray's calm and logical approach. There was no time pressure and it was very much about what we wanted to achieve. Thanks to Ray we feel confident that it's within reach. Would definitely recommend; a nice guy, very calm and made a big difference in a short space of time, oh - and exceptional value.

Ray came out with us on a walk with our dog Bonnie, who since being attacked by another dog, has been behaving aggressively towards small dogs. He showed us how to handle the situation and take charge, with Bonnie focusing on us, rather than the dog coming towards her. Little tricks and tips have helped enormously. Thanks Ray.

I was running out of ideas with training for our rescue dog Sadie. She is a boxer dog and was totally uncrontrolable on the leash and played up in the house too. Ray came out and showed us how to manage the leash walking and the unwanted behaviour in the house. We now have a completely different dog it's unbelievable. We had tried two other trainers before without any real progress but Ray was totally different in his approach to training. He doesen't use many words or any harshness, so calm and relaxed. Can't thank Ray enough. Fully recommend him.

Ray is an absolute expert, we are so pleasd with the results! He has a wonderful rapport with dogs and within seconds of meeting our dog he had her at ease and trusting him.He explained his actions and took time to teach us, our part in training our puppy too.Within two minutes of meeting her he had her sitting in her designated place, taught her to lay and to wait for next treat as he moved away from her before returning - that evening for the first time ever we were able to sit comfortably eating our tea on our laps without her jumping at ourplates trying to get our food, instead she sat patiently waiting for her treats and took them gently - absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Ray to anyone who wants great results from their dog training.
