Springfield Post Office

My mother went to a pay a bill at this post office. When she asked for a receipt for proof of payment (as is the norm), the lady at the counter rudely responded 'receipts? they don't do those anymore times have moved on'. Naively my mother accepted this. It turned out my mums payment was never made to the company, the post office woman must have pocketed the cash.When a complaint was raised to the post office they said nothing could be done as there was no proof. Since then, I have heard of two similar situations with payments being processed for less than the amount the customer paid.Avoid unless you want to risk losing your cash

The actual post office counter at the back is great, the woman and man are really nice, polite and helpful and will get the job done, unlike other places where they make you feel like dirt, like they are doing you a favour.Can't account for the old lady with glasses at the main shop front counter, but she has beckoned me to come there if there are queues and has dealt with me fine, although I can understand how she may come across a curt or rude.

I went today at 4:00 and I found great service from a lady she was very friendly and helpful.

I am a long standing customer here for many many years and very reluctanly too. I have given this post office and ESPECIALLY the lady that serves at the counter (owner with glasses) many many chances to redeem the poor service.Today having asked a question - she was extremely rude and very very aggressive in justyfiying her rude behaviour and lack of empathy towards her many customers waiting in the queue.I have daily / bi daily post and EVERY single time I go to this post office - there is nothing but trouble , extremely long wait times and rude responses to customers.Today amongst the many things said to me - she said you brown people should understand more than others"She was extremely rude - said I don't want custom like yours if you question why the delays - literally if a customer speaks up its chaos - she is unbelievably aggressive and rude. I cannot put it any other way.I'm sick of this place and will never be attending here again. She even rudely on my exit said "take this post I won't be processing this either"I had to drive up to ladypool road (few mins away) to process my post there and will be going there from now on.Please please please - if you want to have a good quick and efficient experience at a post office - THIS IS NOT THE ONE..Not to mention there are of recent several drug dealers outside her post office begging for money and it seems she is ok with them sitting there and making customers feel uncomfortable.Guys - avoid. Honestly just avoid.(Very upset and annoyed customer)"

Rude staff, the guy was just looking to finish his shift, didn't even listen to what i was saying and ignored me completely

I don't normally go to this post officeBeen three times. The service you get is 100% outstanding.. Young lady today advised me which way to send my parcel. Very knowledgeable.Thank you

Very bad service, went to top up my electricity voucher and lady took abut 20 minutes to topup and then her behaviour went so bad with me she's so arrogent she started shouting at me she has no right to shout at the customer like this she act like she is the boss of everyone very bad experience wont go to this post office ever again .

Absolute waste of space. Avoid using the photo booth. I took pictures for my passport application. The machine automatically selected the picture and printed it without giving me a choice. The picture cut my head off and as a result I could not use the pictures. I complained to the owner. They refused to refund me and said I need to call the owner of the machine. The owner of the machine said they sold the machine to the post office 20 years ago. I then demanded a refund or another try, the owner (extremely rude) said I would have to pay again and gave me verbal abuse in her own language. AVOID THESE TIME WASTERS!

Oh God, very friendly staff, very understanding and helpful. I visited this post office yesterday afternoon in a state of panic, it was almost closing time, the lady in the shop and the two post office staff waited until i finished filling in my form. The lady in the post office shop gave me a chair and i sat down for a while until i felt better. Such people are hard to find, i just want to say thank you to these three people.

Terrible, atrocious service. The old man behind the counter flat out refused me service. As this was the first time I was buying a bus pass, I had some basic questions, but he could not understand my simple question, which was ‘could I buy the pass today and have it work from the 1st of July’. But rather than attempting to understand the situation or being a decent human being, he turns to a guy approaching the till and tells me ‘i’m not gonna bother me with this’. He was so disrespectful. Never doing business here again.
