The Cheese Yard Knutsford

What a great shop!There is so many selection of cheeses along with various biscuits!The staff was very friendly and helpful!I will definetely come back again !I highly recommend this amazing Shop with an amazing staff!

Went in for the first time today. The beautiful smell of cheese hits you as you walk through the door. Had a drink and the cheese board. The cheeses selected by the staff were great. Also the first goats cheese that my wife enjoyed. I had to purchase a couple of them to go! Really enjoyed the cheese, the drinks and the service. Another great independent shop that I will happily return to.

We had afternoon cheese. If you like cheese it makes a nice change . We love the experience

Great little gem tucked away off the main street. We had afternoon cheese which was excellent. Four really nice cheeses with crackers, bread and butter, olives, blackcurrant jelly, bresolo, grapes and a glass of wine each. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will very probably be back to try the raclette!

Absolutely fantastic little shop. I have attended a number of the cheese and wine tasting events too and each time the experience excels.Vincent is very knowledgeable and is great at recommending cheeses to your own preference and taste.Always welcomed with a friendly face and the shop itself is wonderful. Highly recommend a visit whether it’s for a bite to eat, cheese and wine tasting or just to purchase some delicious cheese.

I won't be coming back here again, I left very disappointed that I had taken a day off and travelled to Knutsford for this cheese afternoon tea.The waitress there asked if we had any preference of cheese. I said, please nothing with fruit in. My mum asked for French cheese as she's French. She said no problem! We have loads of amazing French cheeses here!The board came with a single piece of French cheese and the rest were hard, bland, non-French cheeses (the Gouda was good though). The carb that came with it was fruit crackers! Despite asking explicitly for no fruit.The room was cold, we had to put blankets on our laps. There was no music for any background noise. Had there been music we may not have minded the proximity we were to the deli. But instead we spent our lunch with loud conversation from the staff behind. Which was distracting, but not a deal breaker, until one member decided to give a disciplinary to another, right in front of us. The whole thing was completely unprofessional.Me and my mum were so disappointed to have made the journey in for that experience. If you're wondering whether to go, I'd say don't bother.

Got a wedding cake made of cheese from The Cheese Yard and it was an excellent choice. We got to go down to the shop, try and select cheese for the cake. On the day it looked absolutely fantastic, tasted even better and lasted for days with enough to go round everyone. Will 100% be back to buy some cheese from them again.

Just attended The Raclette Evening!!!Absolutely amazing, you get greeted as soon as you come in, drinks were offered very swiftly and then the cheese :) Everything was explained very clearly, the staff were very attentive empty glass....offered more.The atmosphere was spot on, I will be returning for a day trip.Thank you for a lovely evening. An Afternoon Tea with a twist! Cheese and wine what an excellent choice. Helena was our front of house and after enquiring on our preferences produced 4 excellent cheese's. The only disappointment was they had no red wine as the delivery had been delayed. However the white wine was exceptional and complimented the food. Overall a great experience thank you to the owner Vincent and again to Helena. This place is now on our radar and will definitely return.
