Had a lovely Saturday afternoon tour of the winery in Darley Abbey. Highly recommend a visit.

Not a tour but a tasting in a warehouse.All wines from 1 glass. Normally we would use a specific white/red and sparkling glass, these are designed to promote the bouquet.The wines them selves are mediocre, most lacking any bouquet of substance with reds distinctly displaying aroma of used barrels.Some questionable wine making techniques employed including releasing wine not yet fully aged and not storing wine in a temperature controlled environment.On the positive side, the mw and vintner did a good job hosting and had plenty to say about the wines and processes used.
