Big selection of blu rays, dvds, records and merchandise. Always worth popping in to see what they have. Staff are generally friendly and approachable, and will assist to order items that they don't have in stock. There are one or two individuals that could do with some customer service training, and occasionally I've found their knowledge of film to be lacking, but this is all just down to experience and probably comes with time on the job.

Really good e penitence with both staff in shop and selection of merchandise. Needed to return an item and was professionally treated by the staff in on a day when several staff members were absent for various reasons.Would highly recommend, especially staff Calum, Matt and Vic

Such a massive store, filled up with Stacks of things that are not selling, 25 per cent record decks, maybe they sold 1 or 2 of them Yesterday. CD s in total could fit into a small camper van. I'm certain this store won't last. Poor products, bad attitude from woman chalking the board, who in twenty minutes, just wrote 2 words on it. Rest in peace record shops.

So very glad we have an HMV store back in Southampton again ! Real physical shopping heaven and unlike some reviewers who moan about stock but should stay online in their virtual world! A different look, like a market but very clever as we all love to hunt for what we want. I could spend all day here, good selection of vinyl, cd's and dvd/blu rays. Great to have you back HMV ❤️

Was a bit of a rocky start due to them being a bit difficult in accepting an exchange approved by their customer services. Despite an email trail, they were very reluctant and made a simple process very stressful. Once it was realised they were in the wrong they were very accommodating and helpful

Absolutely love going into hmv, can find any album you are looking for, and have no trouble ordering online and picking it up from the shop. Nice batch of kpop albums and plush toys too. The anime section is a wonderful and love seeing the foods and drinks from Japan. Usually pop into hmv when I'm in town.

Very good variety of films, books and memorabilia. Just need to add more manga stuff to be complete . Great work

Great shop, definitely worth stopping by if you are passing through West Quay. Huge availability of vinyl records. Sells a range of items from Pop figures to humorous signs.

It used to be a video and music store but now, barely a quarter of the shop contains cds, records, dvds and blue ray discs. The rest is merchandising.Useful for gifts but not somewhere to look for a film that's not mainstream or shuffle through cds looking for an unusual album.
