A great lunch in Bath with friends. Tucked away in the centre of many buildings and accessible by just one small door, it feels like a bit of a find.Lunch for 4 included a main meal each and a bottle of wine, a cocktail and a large beer £115. Service was helpful, friendly and professional. Our waiter Luca was super busy, but was still able to make us feel looked after. The very slim guy who bought out our food and drinks was so good too. Lovely afternoon. Loved my belly pork hanging kebab. Thank you

Gorgeous meal here as a couple. Lovely environment and clearly good for groups (we were sat a little too close to a very noisy hen do, but we could live with it)

Food was awesome and the building is really cool. But... showed up for a reservation, no one was at the attendant station. Walked in and asked for a table which was fine. But overall just ordered 2 appetizers and 2 drinks each had us there for like 90 minutes... and that was with a 90% empty restaurant. Not sure if they had problems staffing but it kept taking like 15 to 20 minutes between getting food or drinks.

A fascinating and impressive historic space, lavishly decorated. A great place to experience. Enthusiastic and professional staff. The huge domed interior makes it a bit noisy for some tastes.

Absolutely wonderful experience at the Botanist!Every cocktail our group had was amazing! The staff were clearly knowledgable and enjoyed doing what they do! The atmosphere was lovely and there was live music for part of the evening.

The Botanist Bar & Restaurant Bath
The atmosphere is incredible. There is a pronounced regency feel, combined with the pleasant lighting interspersed between trees and plants dotted around the octagonal eating and drinking space. The Sunday roast with the extras to share is a must order, and don’t sleep on their hanging kebabs. The only suggestion I would make is to make the potatoes more crisp. Looking forward to coming back again!

Had been to a Botanist elsewhere which had influenced my booking choice. This one was disappointing.Bar area is very nice. It felt very cold as the door opening and closing blew a gale in, but it was freezing outside. The eating area upstairs was lovely but the service wasn't the best. Ordered the speciality of the hanging kebab, and it came out in literally 2 minutes, which made me think it had been precooked. It wasn't particularly hot either. The desert took 40 minutes and 2 reminders to get and was only ice cream!Didn't like the added service charge and was then asked if I would also like to add a tip!

Great location and hidden gem of a restaurant, we also really love the feel of the place. The reason I'm not giving five stars is because we had to wait for 20 mins to ask for the bill. The service seemed to drop of towards the end of our dinner with one poor girl covering the whole restaurant, I now feel guilty for getting short with her. Due to services dropping off and very small tables, we ended up having to put empty glasses, etc, on the floor.But I must say the cookie dough deserts are mega along with the cocktails.We eat on the 6/7/23.

Really beautiful building and atmosphere. The drinks were quite imaginative and the food taste really good. However, the service took quite long and two out of the three people that were at the dinner ended the night with indigestion, bloating, and cramping.

Wonderful place to have a Bottomless Brunch.Sat on the balcony over looking the bar. Service was speedy and friendly. Drinks where kept flowing. Food was well presented and tasty.
