The Croxley Handyman

My first experience of Patrick, The Croxley Handyman. He arrived promptly to put up a large TV, including fixing bracket to the wall. Very knowledgeable and professional in all aspects, and extremely courteous to me and my wife. Job was fairly detailed and complex with drilling and fixing bracket etc, and he did this with care and diligence. We also used him to put up several pictures around the house, and all the time worked with a smile, friendly chat, and was very reasonably priced. Also, 2 hours after leaving, we had a bed delivery, and the guys couldn't get the mattress up the stairs as the TV slightly hampered their movements - I called Patrick and he appeared within minutes to help remove TV from its fixing and then replace after the mattress had been shifted upstairs - and all with good humour and spirit. Indeed he also helped the bed delivery guys unprompted as it was a heavy and awkward task. I will absolutely use Patrick for all my future handyman needs, and recommend his services highly to anyone in need of a handyman.

We asked The Croxley Handyman to help us assemble our new kitchen over the course of a week. The day it arrived Patrick got stuck straight in & no aspect of the job was too heavy or complex. He gave us great tips on how to achieve the finish we wanted & had a broad selection of tools & gadgets to complete the work cleanly & efficiently. At the end of each day he ensured the room was left as clean & tidy as possible. Throughout the week we were happy to leave Patrick to get on with the job whilst we got on with ours. We were so pleased with the outcome & have no hesitation in recommending The Croxley Handyman

Very professional, quick working and friendly to boot!I cross paths with Patrick on a weekly basis while grabbing DIY supplies, and didn't hesitate to give him a call when a project a little out of my depth came along (Installing a Google Nest doorbell and some light switches). I'm very glad I gave him a call as he was on time, very friendly, and got the job done quickly and efficiently with minimal noise or fuss.Least to say, his number is on speed dial for any future projects!

Patrick was pleasant to meet when he came to see the house and sounded as if he was competent to do the tasks we asked. We set up a date and all was fine. However, a week before work was due to begin, he said that he had another work commitment for the week we planned for in his diary which he forgot about. I understand that these things can happen, but when I asked if there was a bit of space in that week that he could do as we were having friends over afterwards and ideally wanted the things done before then (our tasks weren't massive jobs), I got complete radio silence from him. Not even a 'no' or another suggested date that he could do. Haven't heard anything in a month.We managed to find someone who was able to do the jobs at short notice and got them done to a high quality and at a fraction of the price that was quoted to us by Patrick.Patrick's work might be of high quality, but because of cancelling a few days before work was due to begin and not being responsive afterwards, unfortunately I cannot recommend him.

Having read Patrick’s glowing reviews we got in touch about using his services to gut our two (very dated) front bedrooms. We were not disappointed! Patrick did a great job in removing all the built in wardrobes, carpets, lighting and curtain rails so we can start refurbishing. He gave us a very competitive quote, arrived on time and carried out the work extremely efficiently. We will definitely be using his services again. Thank you Patrick!
