I'm not one to post reviews but on this occasion I felt I had to. Please be warned if you are purchasing a house through this estate agent please get a house survey done prior purchase. We put an offer on a house slightly under the asking price as there was evidently a leak on the house which rotted the bedroom floorboards, which had gone through. Also to mention this house was manged by Keystone as it was tenanted, so they knew the condition of the house really well.Because we really wanted the house we visited the Rochdale branch where we were told by the branch manager Syed that they could possibly sort a deal for us as long as we give them our current property for rent. In discussion he told us that somebody had offered 1k more than what we offered. The next day Adil Ansari calls and very cunningly gets us to put an offer of the asking price in return for our house again. So we did, only because the house was in the best part of Rochdale and we really liked it. However after getting a homebuyers survey done on the house it came back 35k undervalued as there were major works that needed doing to the house. When we went back to the branch to negotiate the price, syed who was evidently in the office sent his receptionist back to tell us he wasn't in . Adil Ansari who so called sealed the deal never bothered getting back to us either. The house has now gone back on the market for the same price.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your homebuyers survey when purchasing from these guys, they overprice their houses and pressure you in offering the asking price.I heard from friends that they were cowboys, unprofessional and ripp off merchants from their own experiences of renting through them, but now I know. Thank god the sale fell through and we never gave our current property to these people.

I have just phoned enquiring about a rental property. The lady who took my call literally just said I will call you back tomorrow to ask you some questions" how rude and how not to run a business. Just lost yourself a potential customer."

Rented a property for 16 months with these guys.Easy to get a hold of if needed, they will escalate problems to the landlord to get the quickest resolution. No hassle getting the deposit back. All of this is much appreciated after having had to deal with not so reputable lettings agents in the past.5/5.

I am not normally one to put strong negative reviews on someone’s business as it’s someone’s living which can be affected but given the catalogue of mistakes and poor service from keystone estate agents I can’t simply ignore it and not warn others of their practices. When you first move in they give you a big professional looking folder filled with letters they have sent to the utility companies etc and a report of property condition. To say their scores are generous is an understatement, the walls had been white washed with very diluted white emulsion and were in no way decorated to a professional standard as they say so we had to redecorate the house before we moved in. They have one of their staff come every 6 months to check that you are looking after the property which is fine but you raise issues with the property with them you are told they will speak to the landlord and get back to you which never happens. We had a issue with a non working toilet bearing in mind it’s the only toilet in the property and it took 3 calls to keystones just to get them to pass the message to the landlord. We were left with unsafe gas piping which failed its annual safety check and this issue was swept under the carpet. In the end we stopped reporting issues and fixed things for our selves as at least that way I knew it would be done. When you give your notice they become incredibly pressuring about allowing viewings and refer you to clauses in the agreement even though their is a global pandemic on and local lockdown regulations stipulate no one other than the people you live with can enter your property. We asked them regarding the final rent payment as we were ending our tenancy part way through a rent cycle which a figure was told to us which when I looked over the numbers it couldn’t possibly be that figure so another call was made to them and I was told the accountant hadn’t left notes and they could work it out so to call on Saturday. I did call on the Saturday and was told by the accountant he had made a mistake and it was £10 less which was still wrong so I ended up sitting them down with a calculator to work out the correct figure which is concerning as many people wouldn’t of been able to work it out for themselves so would be unfairly charged. On the final inspection an incredibly rude and arrogant man came and expect us to have fully redecorated the property to get the deposit back despite the fact we had fully painted the property and when told we had pictures of the conditions we moved into and fair wear and tear needed to be taken into consideration. The staff in the branch are incredibly arrogant and speak to you in a condescending fashion. We always were respectful towards them and kept up with the terms and conditions on our side but unfortunately they believe that they are superior to you and treat you like dirt they have just stepped in. My advise to anyone who sees this advert is to expect no issues to be resolved and to be treated like rubbish by keystone estate agents.

1 star is to high. Tenants from hell moved in and Keystone don't do a thing. Damage to a hedge, noise throughout the night every night, banging crashing about, shouting until nearly 5am this morning. Been contacted by EA but take no notice. Should be evicted. Absolutely disgusting from Keystone as no response to any emails.

They put a property on onthemarket yesterday for 600 pcm. I called them to book a viewing and they said someone would get in touch to arrange a time. No one contacted me. Today I checked if the property was still available and saw the price was increased to 650 pcm. I called again to arrange a viewing and again they said someone will get in touch to arrange a viewing. A few hours later, I check and saw the property has already been let. They didn't contact me to arrange a viewing, increased the price in a day and took it off the market. Something suspicious is definitely going on and they will be reported to the property ombudsman.

I have known Keystone properties for more than 8 years, through friends and a relative who had rented from the company, of which some are still with them with good references and feedback.Secondly, while searching for a house to rent in 2014, I met Adil, the director of Keystone, when I recently moved to Manchester from London. He was such a humble, cautious and understanding gentleman, he got me a 3 bedroom house to rent within 2 days in Rochdale, but I later decided to rent and live in Crumpsall Manchester, as it was only 5 minutes drive to Manchester City centre. He refunded the full amount of my deposit instantaneously, without issue or any deduction.Thirdly, 8 years after, I decided to buy a house in Rochdale, based on previous experience with Keystone, I decided to search on Keystone's website, and fortunately, I found a suitable home for my family, not renting this time... lol but buying. I met Hamza who was quite professional, the first house he showed me was perfect, I made an offer and it was accepted within 48 hours.Hamza recommended a Solicitor who handled the conveyance within a couple of months, I am now a proud owner of a house in Castleton.  Thanks so much, guys, keep up the excellent work.Based on prior experiences I have had with Keystone Properties,I can't help but highly recommend you guys to anyone looking to rent or buy a property. Thanks again and best wishes, I sure will refer people to U.

0 Stars for this company if I could!!!Terrible service especially over the phone every time you call them they just pick-up and then hung up the phone without saying anything. Spoken to this HAMAZA guy multiple times about issues with our house and all he says is “Let me chase them up on that” and then never calls back again no updates no emails it’s like this guy sits around does nothing all day. Worst thing is you can’t even contact the landlord to resolve the problem properly because they won’t give it to you cause they know they’ll get sacked for it so they make up some bull excuse as to why they can’t simple hand over their number for better service. Honestly terrible management and service.
