First Tackle

More than happy with the price and over the moon with the speed of delivery - ordered tuesday, received wednesday. A great online purchase, I look forward to buying from First Tackle again.3/2023: I've now used First Tackle 4 times and each time it has been a breeze. The one time I asked Mike for advice, he was accomodating and took time to ensure I bought the right reel. Delivery is always spot on, which is a triumph in itself!If I'm ever in NW2, I'll pop in to say hello and see if he's as good at making tea, as he is in looking after his customers with their fishing needs. 10/10

Ordered a fly reel, line and braided leaders and quality good and delivery perfect within 2 days. Ordered another fly reel and line a week later and again perfect even to the extent that I wanted to change the reel size and Mike was really helpful and I received the order next day. Highly recommend this shop their service is first class.

Shop was closed on Saturday. No sign, no notice. Nothing. Complete waste of time. I am not coming back. There are many shops in area so it's not for me anymore.If you want save yourself disappointment, just avoid this one.

First Tackle is the first place to check out for angling supplies. First class service and often amazingly quick delivery. Just what on line buyers are looking for….

Excellent shop, I am completely new to fly fishing. I was greeted by Mike who was very friendly and professional. Mike was extremely helpful even going so far as to give me a few tips to aid me in my new en-devour. Products were very reasonably priced and it was worth the drive down from South London.I have been to other tackle shops where as a person new to fishing I have not always felt welcome and whilst browsing it always feels like the staff would rather you just left then waste their time.This was not the case at First Tackle. I did not feel like i was being rushed and Mike was more than happy to explain the various equipment on sale. Any questions I had were answered in a friendly manner.I would definitely recommend this shop for newbies and pro's alike. If only more tackle stores were like this.
