Went for breakfast with our 2 grandsons, not been for a while , tea... teabag in a cup....been there for a while, half a cup, used to be a pot, breakfast, sausage and hash browns were hot, comberland sausage..... i don't think so, the rest was tepid . Very disappointed . Definitely gone down hill, won't rush back.

The food was great..a little cold for me ( we had the Xmas dinner meal) but easily warmed up and delicious. Service was a little slow and no attention to table needing cutlery but rectified quickly. The atmosphere was ok..a Thursday night and pretty empty tbh. Could've done with a little more Xmas atmosphere..a little music maybe but a great venue.

Food: 1 star terrible! Oil has not been changed for a while! Very dry overcooked food.Waiting time for 1 cocktail 40min.Toilets filthy!One of the worst pubs unfortunately!1 star for the setting and smile on waiters face! Thank you

Very slow and poor service. Have to prompt staff constantly. Starter should come out before main meal.Cold calamari is not acceptable. (They did re cook this though)Staff don’t smile.Brought desserts out individually. Dirty cutlerySuch a shame as location is perfect.

We had our wedding reception in the function room at Danson Stables. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was perfect for our wedding and we had lots of areas to personalise. The food was excellent and well presented.All in all, a great experience and recommended.

Pretty expensive for the food they serve. I’ve ordered a tomato, mozzarella, avocado with dill mayo sandwich + a salad as a side. The food was very basic, the most low cost ingredients you could get from the shop. No dill mayo in the sandwich, half of a red onions not entirely sliced in the salad. It is a shame because the location is really nice. Should definitely put more effort in the food. Best to avoid and bring your own food when visiting the park.

This park is Lovely! There is a big green area to walk through as well as some trails. The playground is really nice an it has aquatoys in it. For the ones who wants to spend the day, you can find nice meals and beer on the Pub which is inside the park. The lake is beautiful and my favourite part was the old English garden, just beautiful!

Lovely and friendly staff, nice venue within the park, we celebrated my sisters engagement here with an afternoon tea. Staff looked after us well and ate lots of lovely sandwiches and cakes!

We had an absolutely brilliant time at our event on Saturday. Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience. Special Mentions to Jake for taking care of the bar and Sam for being such a great host and manager. We were so impressed.The pub in general is a great place to go all year round and we love to visit. A good selection of beers and lovely staff.
