Downslink Veterinary Practice

Only vets I have ever used who don't push specialist food or annual subscription packages at you. Feels like they genuinely want the best for the pet rather than being sales people. Very refreshing.

I usually use this vets for my dog but the other day when I went to pick up my dogs flea stuff the lady that came to the door was quite rude, I didnt know I had to phone beforehand to let them know I was coming, had I been told this when I phoned to order the medicine I would have done so. She quickly ushered me in to pay and I didnt realise I had been charged more then usual untill I checked my bank.I went on to say that I had had both my covid jabs and before I could continue with saying I am also tested twice a week she snapped well we havent" I do understand that we have to be so careful but there is no need for rudeness

Good vets for our dog & not had any problems. Even prices seem to be reasonable. I would of given you 4 stars, but your receptionist is your achilles heel.Your receptionist is very rude & miserable! She was abrupt when she let us in the door & when we went to pay, didn't say thank you or goodbye.Seriously guys, this woman is the forefront of your business as will be your downfall. Get someone that has good customer service & is happy to greet & talk to customers.

Amazing Vet Practice ♥️Don’t know where to start really, my cat Simba who is nearly 2 wasn't going a wee probably so I contacted our vet who we are registered with since we became cat owners.Our vet said we need to give him some medicine until it runs out which we did, which helped a little bit, on Wednesday morning I noticed Simba being sick and a bit of blood down below I called our vet as soon as they opened gave me an appointment for 4pm my partner got home from work and called me to say we need to get Simba seen sooner which he called got an appointment for 11am. My partner took him vet said we have 2 options pay £1,081 or get our cat put to sleep. Which we didn’t take too easy. We explained we don’t have that much money to pay upfront. Wouldn’t let us pay it off either. We didn’t know what to do I called RSPCA who was so helpful referred us to Downslinks Horsham, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable they kept us so informed they took Simba In straight away to help staff at this vet are amazing they even send us a photo of Simba they honestly went above and beyond for us and Simba, now Simba is home eating and drinking and have a good wee hahaThank you from the bottom of our heart you helped us and saved Simba. Had our male lurcher neutered there, quick turnround, friendly staff,

It has taken me about a year to review because I have felt so upset by the treatment received here. Reception always lovely but I could not believe the rudeness of the vet. The prejudice against me and my dog for being a younger owner was palpable. She never looked over my boy properly, and refused to look in his ears because he would 'bite her'. Now, I know everyone says this about their dogs but my little boy is the most gentle and placid boy, he endures two year olds pulling and poking him when our nephew visits and never turns a hair, so the thought that an animal professional would not properly do her job because of this is frankly laughable. After trying at a different vets, it turns out he did indeed have a nasty ear infection and pododermatitis, which another vet promptly diagnosed and treated him for. Imagine if we hadn't gone elsewhere for actual treatment. I left the clinic and cried my eyes out, will certainly never be coming here again.

No reminder of annual vaccinations for my cat.No info or advise given for a rabbit spay.After they killed my rabbit I had a private autopsy done and they had sewn the stomach to the colon.Very upset I had to wait a few months before I could even write this review
