The Jacobites Ceilidh band
We booked The Jacobites as our wedding ceilidh band. We love a ceilidh! Some of our friends are well seasoned ceilidh-ers but there were also some who had never been to one before. Everyone commented on how fantastic the band were, and the calls were really clear so even those who had no experience picked it up quickly. Loads of our guests commented on how great the band were, it really made our night!! We couldn't have asked for a better time and would highly recommend!

The Jacobites played at our wedding 11th of October at roodlea barn - I cannot speak more highly of these guys!! One thing we wanted was to make sure everyone was up on the dance floor and the band definitely delivered. We’ve had guests and family members ask for their details as they loved it so much they want to book them / attend future events by them. Thank you guys again for an incredible night! The Jacobites played at our wedding and it was great! The ceilidh was so much fun and high energy! They were really good at getting everyone involved, especially since for a lot of our wedding guests, this was their first time at a ceilidh. We would highly recommend The Jacobites if you need a ceilidh band!

The Jacobites played at our wedding in July 2023 and we can honestly say they are the best ceilidh band we have ever heard. Communication beforehand was excellent and they were very friendly, helpful and punctual. They had everyone on the dancefloor from start to finish and it was an absolute pleasure to have them as part of our big day.We felt the band went above and beyond any expectations we had and we would highly recommend to anyone.We will definitely be in touch for any future events, thanks again for being so wonderful!Jen and Pamela

These guys are amazing! Myself and my husband hired them for our wedding with the hope we would have one big party and they certainly delivered.I can honestly say there was not one moment when the dance floor was empty.They called the dances brilliantly so everyone had a clear idea of what they were doing.They also provided an excellent DJ set.

We have had The Jacobites play twice for us - once for the night before our wedding and once just for fun at a late summer party. They are just the nicest group of guys, and they do a wonderful job playing and getting guests involved. They really feel like old friends that have turned up for your party, and we can't recommend them highly enough. We can't wait to have them back again!!

They were expectational, lively and got everyone dancing - the best ceilidh we’ve been to, never mind for a wedding!The band travelled down for us through a storm to play in a venue in York.Ill definitely be back to see them play soon. Best ceilidh band by far! Such great dances and their songs in between ceilidh sets were amazing.Thanks so much guys!!!

We couldn't be happier with the incredible performance the Jacobites band delivered at our wedding. Their performance was absolutely fantastic, and they managed to get everyone, even those with no experience in ceilidh dancing (like all of us) on the dance floor and having a blast! It was heartwarming to see family and friends of all ages dancing together and having an amazing time.Throughout the planning process, the band was professional and easy to communicate with. They arrived on time and were well-prepared, allowing us to relax and enjoy the festivities without any worries.The positive feedback from our guests was overwhelming. Many of them mentioned how much they enjoyed the ceilidh experience and how it added a unique and memorable touch to our wedding. One of the most unforgettable memories with the band was after their performance, Thoren went the extra mile and stayed behind to keep our guests entertained with music until the party ended. Afterwards, he joined us and our guests by the river, and we had an absolutely fantastic time chatting and hanging out together!Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without the Jacobites band's incredible performance. They not only brought their musical expertise but also a genuine passion for making our special day extraordinary. We are immensely grateful for the wonderful memories the Jacobites helped create and we will cherish those moments for a lifetime!
