Love Bedford Fabrics. They have an amazing choice of fabrics at affordable prices. If you can't find what you're looking for here it mustn't exist! I have shopped here for more years than I care to remember and have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. If you need fabric this is definitely the place to go to!

Called into Bedford fabrics today for some material to make some curtains for my camper van, the staff where all very helpful and very patient with me as I did not know what I wanted and could not make a decision. They showed me a lot of different styles of fabrics until I found one I was happy with. Thanks to Bedford fabrics I am now on with making my new camper curtains. A fantastic shop with lots of choice and fabrics of all kinds, very helpful staff who pulled out all the stops for me! Thank you so much for all your help. See you again soon

During lockdown I had been trying to source some upholstery fabric for a chair I am upcycling via the internet but was reluctant to place an order as it's not the same as being able to get a feel of it and a swatch sample doesn't really give you 100% confidence of what a larger piece will look like. Then had a few unsuccessful trips to the big retail park fabric outlet, but today I saw the Bedford Fabrics van as I was out walking and remembered about them so decided to pay them a visit. Wow what a visit!! Very helpful staff and I managed to get everything I need for my project and at a fantastic price too. It says on there website it's often been described as an Aladdin's Cave" and I couldn't agree more

Have visited this shop on two occasions, the first being a few months ago when I needed some funky fabric to make a 70s disco jumpsuit. After a good search, the lady in the shop found me some material which was perfect. Today I visited the shop and again the staff were chatty, friendly and helpful. I found exactly the fabric I was looking for plus some more which I didn't need but I just liked it! There is fabric absolutely everywhere, you could spend a few hours having a good rummage around.

Absolutely brilliant shop with plenty of choice from a wide selection of quality fabrics. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Stocks fat quarters, threads, rolls of fabric, sewing machine needles, bobbins, zips, etc- everything you need and want from a sewing shop! Thank you! :)

Certainly a large selection but quite hard to access stuff particularly on the dress materials.One lady is very nice but on my last visit sold me the 'ring type' heading tape but omitted to actually offer me the rings. Normally the type I've had has always had them included.When I went back after the weekend it was a different server. Snappy, unhelpful, unpleasant woman.Not interested.Don't come with rings.You buy separate.Anyway we've got none.Charming.Well why sell the tape without saying do you need the rings?"Well probably cos they'd got none.Sadly the haberdashery stall on the market has closed.Thankfully Dunelm saved the day.Won't be going back. No desire to come across Ms Charisma Bypass again."

Was looking for some fabric to up do our settee. Shop full of fabric choices. Felt like in Project Runway. Great and helpful staff. Thank you so much. We upholstered already. Looks great for £40.
