He suggested lots of good ideas that were cost effective. Finally, a business we can trust. James and his team from Great Outdoors were able to transform our shambles of a rear garden into a place we can relax and enjoy with family and friends.We knew that almost 100% of the garden area would be dug out, but we were amazed when we saw the amount of earth and old paving and stonework that was removed. This was a major job in itself.Next came the building site stage complete with a digger and cement mixer amongst other machines being used. We were excited to see the planned changes start to take shape.At no time did we encounter any issues, apart from those we created when we asked if we could make some changes or additions to the plan. And when we did, James took this in his stride helping us work out what we wanted.We never had any worries as the work was carried out. James always encouraged us to discuss any thoughts we had and talked us through as the job progressed. Two areas of porcelain paving totaling over 50m², 23 large sleepers, a base for the new shed, constructing a bin store and rear gate, a couple of tones of decorative gravel and over a ton of new soil. Not forgetting all the groundwork that went on beforehand.By this time we were confident that the end result would meet our expectations, but as it turned out, it exceeded them.We can honestly say that we are extremely pleased with the work carried out and want to say thank you to James and his team for a fantastic job. We would not hesitate to recommend them.I've added some before and after photos to show just how much work was carried out.

James and his team did an excellent job! It was a mini refurbishment of new lawn, new composite decking, moving a shed and small patio. James was so helpful and conscientious in his work. He is competitively priced and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend him.

We have recently had our back garden landscaped by The Great Outdoors. From the initial visit weighing the job up James was very helpful, talking in depth about what we wanted to achieve, offering some good advice on certain aspects of the project. The quote came back in just a couple of days and was very reasonable, and he was honest about the start date and how long the job would take. Once the work commenced we were very impressed by how much he involved us about absolutely everything that was being done, talking on a daily basis and quick to contact us for every decision to be made as the job progressed.James's work is first class, he is a perfectionist and cares deeply about his work looking the best it can be. The garden is now looking amazing, and the whole team worked very hard to get the job done, I can't recommend this business highly enough, they were superb,thanks again Great Outdoors for a truly fantastic transformation.

I needed some work on my front garden, some pointing, and a drainage channel at the side of my house as rain collects outside my side door.Great Outdoors do a lot of work on the estate I live in so I decided to contact them. James, the boss, understood my requirements and has been most helpful with suggestions.His staff are hard-working and conscientious and left no mess behind them; in the past I've had to clean up after work has been done at my previous house.It's always a good feeling when a job you needed has been done well, it's always a worry getting work done properly and Great Outdoors have done a great job.My thanks to James and the guys, your work is much appreciated.I would definitely recommend this company.
