Very hospitable and nice location just away from Ironbridge. Great beers but a shame the kitchen closes so early. Arrived about 5 minutes too late after a 2.5 hour drive up from South Wales.

Lovely place, very old and slight damp smell. The staff were really helpful. The only thing was the outside stairs to the bedrooms were very steep and the end of the step markings needed re touching up with yellow warning paint. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast really nice.

Arrived at 7.30pm Saturday evening and tried to order a bar meal only to be told food service had ceased for the day. So ordered a drink anyway only to find a couple who arrived and sat down after us were allowed to order a meal. Also it appeared others had also been served later too. It seems you can only order food here if you are staying here or are a regular so beware if you just pop in on spec! Can highly recommend The Golden Ball Inn, so much friendlier and the food is excellent.

Popped in for a light lunch. Excellent. Local beer on offer at £2.80 a pint. We ordered a baguette and a sandwich on brown. Very generous fillings, crisps, salad and coleslaw for £6.90 each. Truly excellent value...Friendly service too and just five or so minutes from the Iron Bridge.

Ye olde pub indeed. This is a proper old school community pub. I grew up in Birmingham but moved away after uni. Was amazing to be back amongst the Brummy accents and welcoming people :)Food tastes great, amazing value and the young barmaid was the perfect host. Everyone loved the dogs too!

Great location. Came across it on the path to the iron bridge. Due to my first my misses treated me to a fine beer haha. You can tell it was a bar for the locals and normally I always expect the tumbleweed going past with silence, but they're so welcoming there. Felt so relaxed I stayed for two :)

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Stayed for lunch and can wholeheartedly recommend the sausage, bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich - delish! Reasonable prices too. Great location with easy access to central Ironbridge if you want a wander.

An excellent traditional pub, serving a good sellection of ales and pub grub. Great outdoors area and an easy walk into Ironbridge. Welcoming and friendly staff. A great little pub that is dog friendly too.
