Visited last week on my day off to watch some of the Ashes, managed to get a seat with a perfect view of the TV too! The general manager Darren is the perfect host and very passionate about sport and knowledgeable about the drinks he serves!I also tried some of the “Small plates” off the food menu which was the Katsu Fries, Hunters chips and chicken wings. Everything was cooked to perfection! Well done Darren and Team and I look forward to popping back in soon!

I am not from cheltenham so decided to give Yates a try for a nice pint and some food. I was met at first by who i presumed was the manager dresses very smartly for hospitality and who could not be kinder. Unfortunately my visit took a turn for a worst when who I must presume was one of the bar staff asked what drink I would like. I was completely unimpressed by her. In a hospitality setting i would hope there would be some sort of dress code or even uniform which i do hope the pink nike tracksuit that this woman was wearing does not fall under. This an her attitude in general was not what I would have expected and was such a let down since the manager could not have been kinder. I swiftly left after one very quick pint and decided to go somewhere else that did not have pink tracksuits in the dress code. would have been such a positive review if this had not happened because I could not fault anything else. its just such a shame that one person ruined this experience and will now cause me to not come in again.

Thougherly enjoyed watching football on the big screenhere.Four people..four burgers four drinks £35.Staff were pleasant..atmosphere relaxed.No frills sports bar so exactly what's needed to sit back and enjoy the match.Can't knock it.thumbs up.

Yates cheltenham is the place to be this Christmas, walked in with a huge group for Christmas dinner, everything was amazing and everyone was super nice, from the bar to the table, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for Christmas events and regular everyday dining.

Visited here with a friend for food and drink . Opted for a pepperoni pizza and my friend had a beefburger and fries. Good value menu and set in the heart of Cheltenham town serving a good variety of beveragesSpecial mention to Jamie, Angie and the team

Great venue tonight for a meeting and watching the champions league with great food!The team were great, helping us out for different things.Would definitely recommend for a meal out/ watch sporting events!

“Very nice sized” pub / bar. Everything you need under one roof. Just over the way from Royal wells coach stop, handy. Darren, Angie, Leo, Jamie and team most certainly made us feel welcome during our visit to this regency town
