County 4x4 Car & Commercial

Bought a Discovery 3 from this firm a month ago. Really enjoyed the process. A very friendly family firm who do what they say they are going to do. When the sale was agreed there were a number of items that were going to be done before collection - they were all done to a standard higher than I expected. A couple of niggling faults cropped up after collection but these were dealt with and again to a standard better than I expected. I would have no hesitation in dealing with them again and indeed look forward to doing so in a few years time. Proper people - not your typical used car dealers.

Long story short;We bought a Discovery. in May. It had an intermittent problem where the car would not start after putting the parking brake on and trying to move off (Nightmare up Werneth Low hill)These guys were good enough to investigate (Finally it reproduced itself) but supplied a courtesy car and we chose a replacement in June.Can't ask for more than that, and we'll be back for regular servicing.Super friendly too.

Started off great, really polite guy I was dealing with. Even offered to bring me car back to my home address to help me out aa they had it well over the time scale they had given. All went downhill when they called to say they couldn’t do the job (seized up apparently so not their fault). The car was returned to me with a huge egg in the tyre - was not there when I left the car as had all alloys done with pictures just prior. I brought the car back to the garage for the guy to laugh at me telling me it was there already, sadly, this happens as a woman sometimes as we are expected to just accept things like this. I asked him to stop laughing at me; as it was not there beforehand and told him I had my alloys done 2 days prior and there was absolutely no damage to any of my tyres. He continued to laugh at me; even adding it was “put on your invoice as an advisory”. He gave me an invoice for £144 (without any mention of the tyre or advisory); and that was that.Strongly suggest everybody take pictures of their vehicle before they attend. My tyre was damaged on site; and now my car is not safe to drive with the damage they have done.**added on as someone has replied. My bill IS PAID; so you can retract that insanity. I made a joke about kerbs, shame the sense of humour is only present when laughing in women’s faces after damaging their car.

Great guys down the garage they know landrovers inside out. Always very happy and keen to help whenever they can at a very good price. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service. Bought my dream car from here. Made sure it was perfect on collection. Developed issue through no fault of County 4x4. No quibbles took it in and fixed issue and some other niggles while it was in. Above and beyond. Beautiful car and fantastic friendly service. Will use for all future work and servicing.

Don’t go near these guys if you’re looking for a used car. Bought a used Volvo off them it arrived with a smashed wing mirror, error messages, mechanical faults, scratches on body work, all of which hadn’t been documented in the description when I bought it! when I asked them to honour their warranty they did nothing of the sort and ended up charging me simply to look at the car and tighten a bolt?? Have had the a faulty ECM diagnosed (£600-£800 fix) The car window has fallen out now and the rear wiper motor has gone also, this car is literally falling apart! I want nothing to do with these guys so I am cutting my losses and scrapping the car! Goodbye £2500.00!

To say I'm 'satisfied with' the level of service and support is not enough. I'm grateful too. I know my old Freelander is in good hands and it's always a fair price for whatever's needed.

Had our Discovery hse for a week now , spot on , it's everything we were told ,well pleased . We found Sue to be very helpful, nothing too much trouble . We will use County 4x4 again with confidence.

My van broke down on the way to Congleton, phoned these and they came out within 15 minutes.. a lovely guy came out and was really friendly.. thank you soooooo much for the great service!

Purchased a discovery(FG55 VZU) off them in January and didn't receive untill middle of February when it was finally ready for collection it then had a starting fault. It took them 2 weeks to finally get it back in there workshop were they informed they had changed injectors and much more to no joy. I then took it to a independent garage to find. Leaking CV boot and hydraulic leak yet aparently passed its MOT with none of these issues. We also found X2 injectors leaking breather pipes snapped and a complete mess under the bonnet. I finally got my money back but only received £100 out of my warrenty money to which I paid £150 aparently it wasn't fixed under warrenty due to no mechanical faults. This garage is a complete joke and want to rip people off and provide them vehicles unfit for road use, dodgey Mots, and then don't want to return the refunds. Don't use this garage for anything
