Purchased a Van from Hamworthy 4 weeks ago. Dealt with Simon throughout the process of getting information about the van, part-exchanging then viewing and purchasing. Simon's a great bloke and very helpful and kept to everything he promised. The prep team do a great job in Valeting and sorting any defects so big thanks to them. So far everything is great 4 weeks later. Would not hesitate recommending Hamworthy to anyone after a Car or Van that Hamworthy are selling. Thanks all at Hamworthy.

Had a great experience purchasing a vehicle here. The vehicle was as described and presented online. A few very minor issues were addressed, as agreed, between viewing and sale. Graham was friendly, helpful and not at all pushy.

My daughter purchased a used Range rover evoque fir top money in February 2022....in November 2022 the engine had to be replaced due to oil escaping into coolant tank..causing main engine to be replaced with on 60k on clock..no oil warning lights showed at the time to indicate my daughter to stop driving...Hamworthy cars were imformed and wanted nothing to do with it.saying there was only a 6 month warranty on the car although at time of purchase they told us it was 12 months. For a supposedly reputable company We are extremely dissapointed snd upset by the way they have treated my daughter....we are now considering legal action against this company..

I highly recommend Hamworthy cars . I recently brought a discovery 5 for them. The vehicle was extremally well presented. Simon Kasey went above and beyond with his customer servicethank you great experience.

From the first meeting with the salesperson I was impressed his friendliness, the keys were handed over for a test drive without question. The Audi drove well and I was impressed with it. The only thing I could find was that the front brake discs needed some attention, these were replaced along with new pads without question, then came the obvious negotiation on the price of the trade in, again this was painless and the initial offer was increased.There was a delay in getting my money together and they were happy to wait until I was ready to purchase the car. The car was handed over in a good clean condition and looked the part.However, it has been back three times to have some squeaks and rattles looked at, each time the staff have been very accommodating, and a curtesy car was supplied for my use, each time I have been pleased with the service given. It was during one of these visits I asked for the rear brakes to be looked at, they were, and the rear discs and pads were changed under warranty.I have found that the service manager could not have been more helpful when answering my questions about the car, nothing was too much trouble.I would have no hesitation in recommending Hamworthy Car Centre to friends and family when looking for a good quality used vehicle.

Having tried to resolve a dispute in a professional manner, I write this to warn others when dealing with this company. They tried to sell us a car with a very suspect service history. Having been told if we weren’t happy we could have our deposit back on asking we were given the runaround by someone who is spineless and would not talk directly to us. Unfortunately we are 350 miles away and I’m sure they are hoping we will leave well alone. To the owner we are not leaving this alone and will be down soon to see you. Back from Appleby and looking forward to meeting in the future. Anyone locally wanting £1000 to recover the deposit please feel free. Apparently you have to give one star, I wouldn’t give the gorger half a moon.
