Caffe Ginevra Low Prudhoe
The milkshakes were so sooo good however the food wasn’t up to standard, the breakfast wrap wasn’t that tasty, the hash browns tasted like cardboard and the toasties had some sort of herb (rosemary?) on that didn’t go with the flavour of the filling and I feel as though the use of chutney in all of the foods was excessive, tomato ketchup would of been tastier. The atmosphere and decor was really nice though, just the food was a low point

I thought my last trip to the cafe was a 1 off for bad food. But today has been equally disappointing. The breakfast wrap was so dry, it honestly wasn't edible. I would have taken it back if it wasn't a takeaway and if already made it home. The other order was fine, but £1 for a side salad" lettuce leaves and a couple cherry tomatoes is shoddy. Latte was made well before the food was ready so by the time you're home to eat the lattes warm at best.Such a shame it has gone downhill as it was lovely when it 1st opened.Also

Really great cafe. Lovely choice of sandwiches which can be toasted and you get a side salad with it. Good range of coffee, soft drinks, milk shakes and the icecreams are so delicious. You can now sit outside or take away if you prefer. Highly recommend Caffe Ginerva.
