Stirchley Medical Practice

When ever you phone this medical practice you get the message we are extremely busy and our phone lines are at max capacity" I find this very hard to believe

I cannot fault the surgery, from the receptionists at Stirchley and Sutton Hill who are most pleasant and helpful, to the Dr's and nurses who are kind and understanding, both on the phone and face to face. I have had some health problems recently and I have had the best care, I was seen quickly and had follow up consultations. A massive thank - you and well done to all the staff for providing such a fabulous service.

Took my NINETEEN MONTH OLD daughter here yesterday as it is my Mother's local GP and my daughter suffered a scary allergic reaction while we was over visiting my Mother. The receptionist was very rude and said they are not a drop in clinic!!! I said my daughter is 19 months old and she needs to be seen by a nurse or Dr ASAP. She still refused to help a poor little toddler!!! Absolutely disgusting should be ashamed of yourself! Even the pharmacist next door suggested to go to the GP and ask for her to be seen as she needs to be checked over urgently in case it gets worse!

Excellent service from start to finish. Having recently joined this practice I could not fault it.

Been with this practise for nearly 50 years. But I can never get through on the phone lines anymore. I have to hold down a job and they don’t take kindly to you having to wait on the phone for a hour each day trying to get to see a doctor. I have now given up with doctors all together. Shame I really used to like the practise growing up. My whole family have used it.

Disgusting treatment, neglected my Dad, refused to see him when he needed to be seen, throwing up constantly, fobbed him off with anti acid tablets for a hernia that turned into a strangulated hernia that had obstructed his bowel and had to have emergency surgery to save his life, oh and they also missed an aneurysm that was close to bursting even the doctors at the hospital couldn't believe it.My Dad has been in heart failure for nearly 4 years and this is how this shambles of a medical practice treated him.Be prepared for a fight stirchley because my family and I are not letting you get away with this and keep doing this neglect to others. Nearly lost my Dad.You failed my family once before with the death of my 2 year old brother in 1994 due to neglect from the gp. Sort yourselves out!!!!!

Its mission impossible to get through on the phone. On the rare occasion you can get through getting a appointment with a nurse is good, but you want a doctors appointment you can forget it. Repeat items disappear off the repeat ordering and getting them back on is another case of forget it.

Excellent Service we have been with this practice for 48 years, yes there has Been several changes in staff and Doctors, I feel they have always served our family well, my parents were well looked after when they were coming to the end of there life.Yes we wait on the phone, remember this area has a lot of patients. If you talk to the staff in the right manner, you will get the right service.

I have always found the staff on reception are polite and ready to assist if possible, sometimes not, as with anywhere but generally good. Qualified staff also very helpful and willing to listen. Been in the practice over twenty years and never had any problems.

Doctors that u get an appointment 1120 and wait 40 to 50 minutes to get seen even if the place is empty what the heck never had such a bad doctors they need to fix this I am making an afishal complaint to the nhs head as soon as possible
