Gandhi Carpets

I would give 0, due to their lack of communication! I had carpets fitted by them beginning of the year and its been coming away from the edges and door strip. They asked for photos during the THIRD CALL i made to them, and even after sending these they have not been in touch. The fitter has clearly cut the carpet short and used a spray glue to stick it down. It actually looks disgusting where the glue is on the strip. Check the photos, second pic shows all the glue. Wouldn’t recommend them at all. Today i made the FOURTH call to them, explaining things all over again, its ridiculous how I’ve spoken to the same person three times and yet he still doesn’t know what I’m talking about each time.! Still waiting for a call back.

The worker is very unprofessional, The minute he come to start work, he started talking on the phone very loudly and all the time he is talking on the phone till the end of the job. He took much longer to finish just a stair to do carpet because of his phone calls never end, not happy with the way he was doing the job at all, Fez

Avoid avoid avoid. Shady practices and messed me around for weeks. Always promise to call you back and never do. Keep cancelling fitting dates and make up lies about supplier issues.

Absolutely rubbish service. Been using them past 25 years and every year the service gets worse and worse. The only reason I’m going to them is because I need the same carpet as my other rooms. They keep saying they lost my papers!! Do measurements again and again and then on the phone say we will call you back. 5-10 mins. And then no one calls back!!

I am so happy with my new carpets and laminate flooring. The team in the store and their fitters were all very accommodating to our needs and I’m very impressed with not only the quality of the materials but also the workmanship. I cannot recommend Gandhi Carpets enough.Thank you so much for making our new place feel like a home.

Used this horrendous company over a year ago. Fitters turned up with incorrect colour chosen at store, claimed it was our mistake, argued, then realised it was in fact their own fault. Terrible customer service. Manager at first was kind and helpful to your face when selecting carpets and floorboards, but when I went to return a few extra packages for a refund. (It was agreed prior to making payment if we can refund extra left over packages of floorboards). Manager didn't want to know me, disrespected me. Didn't want to know me. I would 100% avoid this company. There are better companies out there who are reasonable priced with better customer service. Avoid. Shameful Ghandi Carpets. It's ashame now just cause of one bad service, when friends and family visit over. I don't recommend Ghandi Carpets.

We were on a tight time schedule for fitting new carpets in our flat with an unexpected changeover in tenants. As we live a few hours from the flat, they took the time to deal with us remotely, literally walking me through various types of carpet via video. They made sure he had all the information required to assist us in choosing the ideal carpet for our flat, working hard to minimise any waste and give us great value for money. They went above and beyond any service I would expect and I would not hesitate to recommend Gandhi Carpets to supply and fit anyone’s carpets…

It's highly likely that these reviews are either fabricated or fake, intentionally placed to deceive customers like yourself.Words can not adequately express the level of frustration, disappointment, and outright anger I experienced during my dealings with them. Brace yourself for a tale of delays, unhelpful attitudes, and a complete lack of respect that will leave you questioning how such a business can even exist.Let's start with the delays. From the moment I placed my order, it became painfully clear that this carpet shop had no regard for timeliness. The promised delivery dates were nothing more than empty words. It was as if they took pleasure in playing with their customers' patience and wasting their precious time. Each time I inquired about the status, I was met with vague responses and false promises.As if the delays weren't enough, the staff's unhelpful attitude added insult to injury. Instead of providing assistance or showing any semblance of customer service, they displayed an astonishing level of apathy and indifference. It was abundantly clear that they had no interest in resolving my concerns or even acknowledging their own mistakes. Their dismissive and condescending tone made me question why I had chosen to give them my business in the first place.But wait, there's more! The complete lack of professionalism and basic human decency is astounding. Save yourself the anguish and seek out a reputable carpet shop that values their customers and understands the importance of delivering on their promises. Trust me, you'll thank yourself for avoiding this nightmare of an establishment.

I had my staircase carpet and laminate flooring done in 2 of our rooms. One of the rooms had the laminate popping up, I went to let them know about it. One person came down but then they never bothered. I was told that the person who did the laminate had bypass operation and someone else would come. I went there on around 2/3 occasions, but no one arrived. I wouldn't consider them ever again as their aftersales assistance is unreliable. Once they got their money and done the job for you, they will not provide support within a suitable time period.
