Poole Park Railway - Poole Park | Back after 4 years. With a new 10¼ in (260 mm) gauge track, and wheelchair accessible carriages looking resplendent in their green & yellow livery, paying homage to the Southern railway that operated in this area from 1923.

So cute, my little one loved it.Friendly volunteers, mostly old guys who love trains (my Dad was in his element).Shame they haven’t made more of the shop. I think some old timey sweets/toys might be better suited than the Thomas the Tank stuff they currently have.

Came from North Dorset to ride the train as opening times said open until 1pm. It was closed. Let's be honest this project has been a disaster from beginning to end. Should have left it alone Poole Council.

It’s great to see the Poole Park Railway back on track. I took my Grandson for a ride and he loved it well organised at a low cost. He will have several more rides I am sure.

A miniature railway loved by the people who run it, loved by the people who use itMismanaged by the new managers, walkouts by every volunteerMust have trained at every rubbish railway service in this country!This service needs the staff not the management, well done to the local council and the new management for effectively destroying a well loved attraction.And you must wonder how much the management are getting paid for such a massive mismanagement

As an adult, reliving childhood memories, I thought this was FANTASTIC, particularly for only £3.50. The volunteers were wonderfully welcoming and friendly. Leave your inhibitions behind and hop on!

Love the train at Poole Park. My little boy enjoyed his ride on his birthday. The volunteered staff were about to close but opened up especially for him. Made his day :) Thank you!

The trains always run on time. The staff love their jobs. Great for under 5s.UPDATE Feb 2020 Currently the railway has sadly closed. We hope a team of enthusiastic volunteers will re-build and re-open at some point in the future.
