Head Offices of Jew Care plus it is a day centre. Mon-Fri the coffee shop with a good range of site-made cakes is on offer plus a hot food servery counter. It is well worth a visit for the community feel if not for the food available.

Acclaimed largest carers for the Jews, this building and the people working in it surely command attention, whether you're driving by the building or you step inside. I visited as job applicant but was treated as a dignified customer and I can't help trying to imagine how wonderfully their service users are treated.

Great place, beautiful building , amazing conditions. Some of the carers could be more friendly. Should be important for them (carers and staff)to know that they should be caring in every situation and not only when the visitors or family are near them. I saw a carer in a coffee shop with one patient from Jewish Care and she was on the phone all the time not interacting or making company to that lovely elderly.

A warning to those considering a Jewish Care Home - especially if their loved-one is terminally ill.My mother was resident at Lady Sarah Cohen House. During this time they continually and repeatedly ignored instructions from her doctors, failed to manage her oxygen requirements, overdosed her on her thyroid medication as well as mismanaging her other prescribed medication. They left her at risk of falling and did not always provide her with meals among many other things. In response to my complaint, Gaby Wills, Director of Care for the whole of Jewish Care, wrote “The attention to details of medication such as 'Movicol' (a laxative) and the expected 'overflow' of eye drops (for glaucoma) seems striking when considering the bigger picture (i.e. nearing end of life).”Being constipated can be extremely painful and possibly dangerous to a person’s health to the point of being fatal. It is not a mere detail" as the "director of care" would have it.Jewish Care's  response to my extremely serious complaint

I work for this company it is a nice company but as a qualified carer, the senior nurse and unit manager can be horrible and disrespectful to carers.

The premises is consistently bright and clean. Food is prepared fresh and with care. Facility is available for functions of various sizes. Many activities are provided for residents and visitors, from Zumba dancing, to educational talks. All food is produced under the superb supervision of the London Bet Din.
