I go here regularly to hang out before and after class to play pool. Generally quiet enough to get work done as well

Its Glasgow Caledonian Student Association. You can pop in for directions , if you are struggling with problems in your academic they're have got good counselling unit.

Has a pool table, usually ordered coffee does serve alcohol

The glasgow Caledonian University students association is an area for students to congregate, meet friends or colleagues, and generally appreciate life outside of academic work. There are often events ranging from bake sales through to drag bingo. It is also very busy with different society nights such as the check mate society (chess) hosting regular events for socialising.In the association, students can get access to advice, free contraceptives, and period products, as well as being given opportunities to speak up on behalf of other students by joining the student voice meetings and being involved in surveys etc. 10/10 would recommend.
