Cippenham Recreation Ground

Free parking. Good open space to walk, take your dog, exercise. Cippenham Crown Green Bowling Club are also based here. There are tennis courts, and a basketball court.

Lovely park! My child loves the swing area. There is an outdoor mini-gym place too. Although sign says dogwalkers should keep their dogs on leash, they all never do. Avoid walking on the grass else you might just step on poop (my child did). Broken glass/bottles around the tennis court barbed wire. The only reason I am giving three stars is because the little kids area is kept clean and we love going here.

Good park to play with children

Tennis courts are free yo play, but fencing missing and courts Nedd a clean as slippery on a layer of earth behind the baseline!

Nice small park with play area, outdoor gym, tennis courts and Rose and shrub beds and borders. There is a small car park and places to sit. There is also a bowling green and clubhouse.

The sport equipment needs a little bit TLC, and the litter needs to be picked up. I will bring gloves and bags next time to pick some up myself.

Unfortunately due to a bankrupt council the park has become dirtier and dirtier. The tennis court and tarmac areas are covered in broken glass and the grass areas are covered in rubbish. The tennis courts have had the same piles of rubbish on them for months. A few years ago they removed half of the waste bins which just encourages people to throw their litter on the floor. They also removed the fence from around the children's play area making it less secure. Also the fence from around the tennis court were removed and never replaced. The park is also desperately over mowed. Quite ofter down to the dirt when it doesn't need doing. The flower beds are sprayed rather than weeded which means plenty of sick or dieing plants. It's a real shame as it used to be a nice park. It's also not a safe place at night
