A time waster. Slow to provide a written quote which was limited on detail. Contacted by phone calls, several txts, and emails to confirm work but absolutely no response. Wasted several weeks for no result. Highly unprofessional and basically just rude. Total waste of time.Similar issue the previous year when contacted to provide a certificate ! Never turned up !!

Alan is one of the most polite and gifted plumber, gas engineer and bathroom fitter i have known. He completely understood our vision for how our down stairs cloakroom was to look. his ability to visualise the final concept before the first part was even placed and his dedication to do a perfect job means Lady Bickley and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. take a look at the photos and judge for yourself.On a side note the gentleman who posted the bad review, simply was unwilling to pay for Alan's work when Alan refused to certify this customer wrong size gas feed pipe. as proved in the Law courts

I called Alan to come over to give me a quote for a new bathroom, it seemed that I have known him for years, lovely guy, very professional and great at what he does, I had my whole bathroom done by Alan and now I'm looking forward to have him come back to do a complete refurb on my kitchen, I would not want anyone else to do major work in my house, I also have to give a mention to Tony who's carpentry work is outstanding...

Alan has helped us on 3 different projects over the past 3 years, most recently with a new heating and boiler installation. He is professional, courteous and good value. He is really knowledgable and experienced and we are delighted with his top class service. Highly recommend AKM.

This plumber left without completing my job with 6 radiators leaking 3 days before Christmas, leaving me with no heating and hot water after capping my gas supply. He refused to come back unless he received an advance payment and further fund for an undersized gas pipe which he failed to mention in his original quote.During this job, he also took a week off to finish another job after disconnecting my boiler! This was never agreed and overall wasted 1 month trying to complete a central heating upgrade due to disappearing with late starts & early departures. Replacement plumber found major faults with his work which included not connecting the thermostat correctly and not connecting the cold water balance.My advise would be to avoid this plumber, alternatively obtain a detailed quotes which states any additional charges which may be due if required (under sized pipe). Always obtain a written contract stating start & end dates and payment on completion only. Also ensure he provides you with an official invoice which contains basic requirement such that of an invoice number. His previous company AKM PLUMBING AND HEATING LIMITED Company number 07949190 was dissolved by compulsory strike-off.I wish I carried out further check into this plumber and will never recommend him due to the stress, service and the state he left me in.

Alan, Fitted a new radiator in our bathroom. He was fast, efficient and above all polite. what a great guy who knows his stuff. Best Plummer I have found in the West Midlands.

Alan's communicative responses were bang on when booking a local plumber. He was super friendly, and informative and did a smashing job of getting our hot water back on.Will definitely be using again....not too soon we hope.

Alan was recommend to us by friends.We were building our new home and after trying various plumbers who never showed up,he turned up on time and gave us expert advise.Since then he has fitted our large central heating system ,2 en-suites and we are now in discussion of our main bathroom.I must say Alan is very knowledgeable on what products to use and the best way of fitting them.We have certainly saved a lot of time with using 1 person to carry out a range of tasks.
