Parked here today arrived around 8:30ish and was plenty of spaces to park and for free ! Really close to the visitor centre /cafe and toilets . I’d advise arriving early !! When I’d finished my walk around 1 o’clock every car park and and road side space was taken maybe it’s because it was New Year’s Day but it was extremely busy.

A beautiful part of Peak District!!! If you like nature you can come here to let the car in the car park, which is busy all the time, and you can walk around to admire the area.

Free parking at the moment,but are looking at charging in the future.The C.P. gets very busy,and fills up quickly first thing in the morning.May change if parking charges come into play.
