Bought various fish online from here. Efficient delivery and service with good range from day boats. Slightly inflexible website in that can only order by whole kg. The absolute star though are the haddock fillets, which are super fresh and deliciously sweet. I grew up in Aberdeen and this is the first time I have tasted such quality since (and that includes working as a professional cook getting supplies from Cornwall). This is also a good source of smoked fish such as Finnan Haddie.

Would recommend Downies for their delivery service, beautiful fish and the order , both fresh and frozen fish were well packed in polystyrene boxes with ice packs around the fish. Always a pleasure to deal with them.

Amazing place. Freshly landed fish and at the right price too. Also tried their amazing Cullen Skunk and smoked haddock pie. Definitely recommend this place

Beautiful fresh fish and what a variety. Friendly service and great price...tried their pies for the first time....wont be the last. Easily the best pie ever...the pastry case is WOW and the generous tasty filling is amazing

We have been buying our Fish from Downies online from Milton Keynes for the past 15 years. It is top quality fresh fish and the taste is divine and worth every penny. The service is excellent. Always arrives next day and is always SO fresh. Why would you buy you fish, smoked fresh or frozen, from anywhere else? Very good value for money and highly recommended. David P. P. S.
