Awesome food, really good atmosphere and unique detail in the restaurant. You can tell Rupali and the team put their all in this and have built something really special - will recommend to everyone we know and will definitely be back!

This place was a ten out of ten! We had the daal, aubergine, and green chicken, it all tasted spectacular, like being at a good friends house, whose made the best home made cooking! Love it, will be coming back over and over again 10/10.

The food was so tempting that I forgot to click pictures but the prawn and chicken kottu was my personal favourite and the drinks are very differnt and unique... I liked anandam which is the speciality.

We had an impromptu visit to this place. We didn't book but they were very accommodating. Manage to get temporary seating within a few mins of arrival.As we sat there looking at the menu, the food on the menu looked delicious and yummy. The aroma of the food was wafting and made us even hungrier. The waiter took our order, and he suggested a few things for us.When we finally sat on the table, the food arrived in a few mins. Hot and tasty. We ordered Jaffan Lamb and Policha Kozhi with Parotta and ghee rice. Bear in mind that quantity is a little bit less. But as its canteen may be the chef's idea is to taste everything from the menu. Although the quantity of the food served is a little less. Hence, while ordering, it's recommended to order a few more things. My daughter ordered chicken Khotu roti, which again was delicious.The servers are dressed in very colourful and jubilant clothes. They are always smiling and happy to help you with ordering. They come and personally talk to you, which is very rare when you visit any Indian restaurant. They treated everyone the same. Loved the ambience.Special mention to Rupali she made sure the table and food served were right. She even engaged in a conversation with my 10 year old.For dessert, we ordered KnickerBoker glory, which Rupali recommended, and it was delicious. It reminded me of my mum's fruit custard, which didn't have chia seeds. We also ordered coconut pudding, which again was delicious. Once again, I was so hungry that I didn't take any pictures of the food although I got a couple of pictures of dessert.

Excellent food and service. Got the chef reccomended Bone Marrow varuval and Beef fry. Truly mouthwatering; must try.Was served by Vineeth and he was very knowledgeable and graceful. A great overall experience.

Had a very nice dinner at Tukka Tuk. There were two cocktails on offer both were nice. The prawn starter was excellent and the lamb chop was very nice I had this with kerela paratha. My wife is vegetarian and choice was surprisingly limited for an Indian restaurant. She had Chenna Dumplings which wasn't great. She had Nei choru- a fragrant rice- which was nice. For dessert we had pazham pori - banana fritters-which was nice but it was served with a raspberry sorbet. Should have been served with a neutral flavour like vanilla sorbet or vanilla ice cream.Given 4 for food as the Dumplings weren't great, the kerela paratha a bit oily (Should be light and fluffy) and the choice of sorbet a bit strange.Will definitely visit again. Service was excellent.The Indian food scene in Cardiff has undergone an amazing transformation.Some places worth visiting arePurple Poppadum, Salkara, Chai Social and Ponnusamy. The last is a small restaurant on City Road serves very good food reasonably priced but check recent hygiene rating.

Ate here about 2-3 weeks ago.Food was average at best, portions were tiny and everything was overpriced. I don’t mind overpaying for food but not when the portions are minuscule.The waiter was probably a used car sales man in a previous life, I know front of staff are probably on commission but this was something else!On a positive note the ambience and decor were really nice and well thought out.

Really enjoyable first visit. Great atmosphere (several Christmas parties!). Staff very attentive and really helpful with menu recommendations. Food was delicious, lots of variety. Will definitely be back
