Parkdean Resorts Cresswell Towers Holiday Park, Northumberland

Stayed in Woodlands. A very cheap break booked via Hoseasons. The caravan was mostly spotless and very neat. The kitchen looked fairly new.It was the end of season so I wasn’t surprised to see tufts of fabric sticking out of parts of the sofa and a few marks on the upholstery and net curtains.It was very peaceful. There was plenty happening in the clubhouse but we didn’t use it and we didn’t hear any noise from it either. All I heard was birdsong, so no complaints there.There were radiators and an electric fire and they worked well.Staff were very friendly.A quiet location in a tiny village next to the sea and nature reserves. Good for touring from.

Lovely site with the most friendly staff right up until the last day of the season. We had a lovely week swimming and playing on the football pitch. The beach is a two minute walk away and beautiful. We had a small caravan which was clean and perfectly located for everything. We ate on site a couple of nights and the food and drink was great and priced reasonably. Can’t wait to return.

We were a family of 2 adults and a 7 and 11 year old and absolutely loved our stay here. The staff really made our holiday and were so happy and eager to do anything to help. The facilities were excellent. It’s just a small park and probably more suited to younger children. Not many teenagers around which made it less intimidating I think for the younger children. Nothing against teenagers, I was once one myself haha. But it just meant there were lots of kids if similar age to make friends with. The beach nearby is beautiful and about a 10 minute walk downhill. Obviously uphill coming back so bear this in mind when you drag everything to the beach! Best ice cream shop ever when you get to the beach. The show bar was a bit manic for us but everyone there was clearly having the best time. Food looked amazing and great prices although we didn’t eat out. I’d definitely recommend a stay here for families with young children. We all had the best time!

We had a brilliant time at Cresswell Towers! The caravan was seemed pretty new, was well looked after and nice and clean. The reception, bar, activities and pool staff were all lovely and very helpful, with the activity coordinator dressing up as the rabbit mascot especially for our children and the pool attendant bringing them toys to play with in the pool when we hasn't brought any. The play park was really good and well looked after and the on site shop was really handy. The location was great too just a short walk from really beautiful sandy beaches with rock pools to play in. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be going again next year!

Stayed for 4 nights beginning of July. Site was quiet, which is what we wanted. My daughter loved the swimming. Have to mention 2 of the lifeguards who were fantastic - Michael and the lifeguard with dark hair and a beard, whose name I didn't manage to get. The were both brilliant with my daughter and the lifeguard with the beard went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable during the half hour break between the aqua jets and the general. He also fixed my goggles for me, which was much appreciated!The caravan was clean and had everything we needed during our short stay.The site was absolutely spotless, very well maintained.My daughter loved the wee play park.Also have to mention the woman who works in the amusement arcade. She was brilliant! So friendly and made sure every machine was in working order.We were very lucky with the weather but think of it had been raining we would have struggled to find things to do around the site.We will definitely be back for another short break.

Me and my family stayed in the wheelchair accessible caravan at Parkdean Cresswell , and it was accessible in every single room.. the only thing I would’ve changed was, the location of the plates and cups. They were up high in the cupboard, and couldn’t be reached for someone in a wheelchair. Apart from that the location of the caravan was great, was just a short stroll to the entertainment complex, and I especially like that there was a parking space dedicated to the caravan. We all loved it that much we have booked to go again next year.

Fantastic break!Stayed in a lovely caravan with the family. Very clean with everything we needed. Just a short stroll to a lovely beach and there is a great park on site. Kids loved the pool. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, staff were so friendly and helpful. Kids had lots of fun watching the entertainment.We will be back and would highly recommend!

Good clean caravan. All that you need to relax, keep warm and a well equipped kitchen. Activities for children to do on site. Good pool.Caravan site in excellent location for tourist spots and the beach, which sadly we couldn't visit due to high tide times.
