Chesterton Valley Golf Course

This golf course is a true hidden gem that will challenge low and high handicap player's alike as a result of it's natural protection as tree lined fairways on many holes really demand positional play from the tee but also reward those who put course management as top of their game.I have played this course now many times and always look forward to visiting here as the course is always in excellent condition all year round and the staff are always welcoming.If you are one of those out there that say oh yes I've heard of this course but never played it what is stopping you it's affordable and fabulous value and you will not leave disappointed after observing the many fabulous views walking some stunning holes offer you and will certainly look forward to another visit.

Great golf course. Front nine is fairly flat, but the back nine is quite hilly. You have to be reasonably fit to play the back nine. Clubhouse is modern with views over the course. Ample parking. Great venue.

Gone downhill (literally)Greens were extremely patchy and bare..and theve destroyed the 11th green once one of the best greens in the area..and STILL CHARGING £28..many more courses with better value..POOR..

Great people and a lovely course

The course is in a beautiful valley and has such great potential, but we were unfortunately left disappointed by the condition of the greens. This was in the peak of summer too and it was just poorly maintained. The rough and fairway also basically blend into one. Would be a super course with a bit more TLC but we won't be going back in a hurry at £28.

Visited as part of an away day from our own club at Horsehay. Catering throughout our stay was first class. All aspects of the course were brilliant and was looking in great condition. A real credit to the people running it. We'll worth a visit for anyone who wants to have a day's golf in a friendly environment.Ken

Played there on 1/10/23 and the condition of the course was horrendous the greens were unplayable so much so we walked off after 10 holes.Tha bunkers were full of building sand and pebbles.Fairways were left long.Greens were saturated with water and covered in sharp sand they were very slow bobbly and patchy.Just all around unplayableWe were charged £24 for the privilege and were not told about any maintenance on the course so that is not to blame.Weather has not been that bad either as other courses in the area are in great condition.Safe to say we will not be returning even if it was for free.Could be a lovely course unfortuneatly let down by the condition.

Well run superbly maintained golf course.Buggies available to rent.Easy to navigate from one hole to the next. Play 9 of 18 unique holes.Well stocked bar which also serves a well kept pint of Mild!Outside seating overlooking the 18th green.Well done to James and the team!

enjoyed round, course decent condition.Greens though were the slowest ive played on, over many rounds played on the coure in the past.

Very good place , and the Kitchen staff were fantastic
