Giggling Squid - Cheltenham
Everything you would expect from a Thai place. It's really good quality food, most of it has a little spice in it.I had the royal seafood curry and was not disappointed. Salmon (large portion), squid, muscles, prawns in a tasty curry. I had a side of bok choi & tenderstem, which was also very tasty.My wife had the dumplings which were also good.They even do nice deserts here. I had the trio of deserts and also the mango cake and all of them were delicious.After 6pm it's free to park outside on the street and we found parking easy enough.

An extremely busy evening and service was slow. Servers were attentive and maintained communication concerning the delays throughout. Food very good and authentic (beware it is hot and spicy)! Reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Cheltenham. If you crave some real Thai flavours then this is great.

Good food. Very close to authentic Thai food. May have changed it here and there to get the fusion flavor.Great cocktails tho.And service was top notch. Was served by an old Thai gentleman and lady who had a different uniform. I think she was a trainee but nailed it by serving us. Also don’t underestimate the size of the position. They are quite big.Costed £80 for a starter two cocktails two mains and some sides. Bit on the pricey side but I understand with the quality of the food and the location.

Not usually a Thai food fan but this place converted me. Amazing food provided by attentive service. A little out of town and we ate late. Can't fault the quality of what we had and service made us forget they were looking after 8 of us.

Tried out this lovely Thai restaurant and was not disappointed. The place was buzzing and once you taste the food you can see why.It's very popular for good reason so book in advance if you can. We rang on a Friday and they had a table for 8.15 which isn't too bad.The tastes and flavours were exquisite. I'm new to Thai food but will definitely try it more often.Top notch.

I had a rare night out with my wife and we were extremely pleased we chose the Giggling Squid to spend the evening. The service was fabulous, really friendly and helpful staff and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. I look forward to my next visit!

First giggling squid I’ve been to and I’ll be happy to visit again or another branch. The decor was beautiful, staff were lovely with good sense of humour.Very much enjoyed our refreshing cocktails and food.We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly it filled up around us, somewhat lucky we got a table walking in.

It’s a very pretty, nicely decorated restaurant. The staff were friendly and topped our water up without being asked which I thought was a nice touch. The service was very quick, orders taken quickly and food followed quickly. One negative was the music was far too loud. The menu is broad, so plenty of choice to suit most people’s tastes. The food was delicious but be warned, even dishes with no ‘chilli’ indicating that it should not be spicy, were still spicy so if you’re no good with spicy food be very careful what you order. Very reasonably priced and would definitely go back

I have to say that this is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time.From the minute we booked our table it was clear this is a very well run establishment.The minute we showed up, they remembered my face and took us to our table. We were then given cold water as a courtesy, which remained topped up for our entire stay. It's amazing how many restaurants don't even provide water.The menu itself was full of choice and each dish we had delicious. We loved the cashew stir fry and the spring rolls are the best we've ever tasted. I'd love to sample some other dishes in the future, I just hope the Brighton branch is as good as the Cheltenhamone.It's really hard to find any faults with The Giggling Squid Cheltenham. It's well decorated, clean and efficient. The staff seem happy and organized, as well as being very helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
