Summertown Cycles

Thank you so much to the Summertown cycles assistant who pumped up my back bike tyre free of charge, so helpful, was worried if I continued my journey that I would end up with a flat. Popped in for help.

Good selection of bikes new and some used. It is twinned with one downtown. They are well stocked with parts and spanners etc. They have a selection of clothing and helmets. I like them, helpful and friendly. For repairs they can be a bit slow but the job is done properly. Plenty of space to park bicycles out front. They deal cube and other brands. Good for e and regular bikes.

Super helpful staff. I had a problem with my bike on a long trip and they looked for solutions with us. And super friendly !

I'm doing a complete respray on my mountain bike and I needed to remove some parts that I don't even know the name of (chrome head set thingies?). I took my bike in to Summertown cycles and Brendan took the frame and knocked out the part free of charge there and then.Highly recommend friendly and helpful. Cheers Brendan I owe you a pint!

Had a great experience when buying my new road bike. Very happy!

Took my bike in for a simple tyre change. The guy who did it put the tyre on backwards, pinched my inner tube causing a puncture and failed to return my dust cap. When I took it back the next day to rectify, they initially refused a refund for the fitting fee - which I wanted back as the job wasn’t done properly and caused me a lot of disruption - stating “well, we’re not charging you for this fitting”. I should hope not as you are rectifying your own mistake! The attitude of the staff was horrible, exchanging snarky looks when I complained as if I was somehow being unreasonable. Not a shred of professionalism or customer service between them.

Pay a lot of money to change my tyre that it was suppose very good and after 2 months I needed to change again
