Always happy to support local business but cost of a chicken really was expensive compared to another local butcher in close by moorland road, expected a good quality chicken for the price but was just ok and again preferred Banables. Good to have choice..

From the moment I walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly cut meats greeted me, setting the stage for what would be a truly delightful visit. Away from home and my beloved Santa Fe grill, I miss Mazatlan! wanted to have a good cut of meat.What truly sets this butcher shop apart is their commitment to customer service, great recommendations recommendations on cook on proper cooking method. Perfect medium, finish on some butter, spices and allowed to rest for 15 minutes.

Really great service both in store and online. I enquired via Instagram on Thursday and picked up my order on Saturday morning. Super easy and delicious tasting meat! Can’t wait to go back and get some of the other delicious looking things in the widcombe store!

Is it possible to call a sausage sublime? For me it's the first test of a good butcher, like going into a fish-shop (heaven help me!) ..and ordering a fishcake! I can't remember which one I picked up..after wine and onions I am besotted by the texture and taste..I feel alive. This is enough for me!
