Amazing hosts bob and Claire were fantastic and very helpful. Lovely and clean rooms, Bnb walking distance from town centre. We would definitely come again.

A characterful house full of original features and interesting memorabilia all around. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and all the usual facilities. The ensuite was quite small (as dictated by the dimensions of the room) but functional.Bob and Claire are lovely welcoming hosts with many an interesting story on hand for enjoyable chats. It felt like visiting friends rather than just getting a roof over your head for the night.

Lovely quaint b&bFriendly staffEven made great effort with vegan breakfast ( only thing missing was sunflower spread and mushrooms lol )Overall we'd certainly consider coming again . Best of luck for the future after what will have been a trying time.

A great family B&B, owned by a lovely couple. Just far enough from the city. It is a really nice 20 min walk along the river into York centre or a 5 min drive. A top pick for people that don't want a sterile chain hotel.

We stayed at the Adams House last weekend 17th/18th of September 2022, We booked our room very last minute and Bob was so accommodating to our request, the B&B was a nice place to stay, clean, specious room, great breakfast, friendly owners. Definitely recommend it.

2 miles from city centre, Adam's House is ideal place for quiet rest. Bob is so nice, bedroom spacious, also free car park behind the building.£85-£95 per room per night with good breakfast is really fair rate
