The Funghi Club
In one (French) word: FormidableThis small new bistro in Hungerford is like gold in a silversmith shop - outstanding in every good way. Genuine French with a chef with Michelin credentials and food to die for. Every item on the menu is a temptation and visiting here might become an addiction. The service is exceptional, the staff most friendly and the choices on the menu very inviting. Why go to Paris when you can go to Hungerford? In addition to table service, there is a deli counter and we had to buy some additional goodies to take home after our lunch. They also do deliveries. The prices, considering the quality of food, are quite reasonable.We'll be back.

Very popularReally tasty French cuisineReasonable prices ,wine very well priced,most other places are really expensive but here you can get a 250ml for less than £7Mains,dessert,coffee,wine incl. 10% tip for 2 came to £70You do have to book otherwise you may not get in which is not surprisingThey have a wonderful deli counter tooWill definitely be back

The Funghi Club
We had some food deliveries from the Fungi club during lockdown and loved them and we FINALLY got to go in for dinner last night. We all had a lovely evening, the food was all delicious, particularly the chicken liver parfait, cassoulet and the mont blanc gateaux.The staff were very friendly and accommodating. A couple of us were drinking the delicious cidre and one of the serves thought they had ran out of chilled bottles as it was very popular, we took a room temperature bottle and they provided us with loads of ice in a bottle cooler and were very apologetic. After we had drunk about half of it they reappeared with a full chilled bottle they had found and swapped them out, no problem. It's little touches like this that show the team care about the business, highly recommended.

delicious croissant but very disappointed by such unfriendly service. We had our babies with us (who were as good as gold sitting in pram) and they made us feel so unwelcome. They also insisted that we paid service which is meant to be at the customer's discretion and we only had a coffee and snack with very little service. A real shame that they are so unwelcoming to mums with little ones.

This is the kind of gem you are afraid to tell people about for fear you’ll never again get a seat. Amazing French cuisine in little ol’ England can be found at The Funghi Club. This cozy, small business is owned and operated by French people who love French food! The Funghi Club is the perfect place to fill your picnic basket or have a lovely meal in house. I visit everytime I find myself in Hungerford!

The matter has been resolved I was told human error. This was done quickly.I thought that this restaurant was quite a pleasant place and the staff accommodating.My biggest gripe is that I was overcharged which I didn't see until later. I was charged for 3 sparkling waters and we only had one.I was urged to tip and quickly 10% was put on the bill ... I trust that the owner who gave us the bill will do the honourable thing and rectify the situation ..... this is my top!
