Always use them for our Renaults when we can - absolutely fantastic job in sourcing and replacing our windscreen within 36 hours. (This is having to wait for 3 + weeks for Autoglass NOT to be able to source, never mind book the car in for it to be replaced!)

Previously having MOT' and serviced our vehicles in both Burwell and Newmarket the prices were competitive but the price has gone up and so is less competitive now. At Newmarket, they were quick to do the service and get back to me on a brake problem but felt pressured to accept the quote in order to get it back by the end of the day and so didn't shop around. I did get it back by the end of the day without their 'service wash' but was shocked at the final price. To change the brakes was as, if not more expensive than a main dealer and so cost around £180 more than it should have after checking at my family garage nearer London and online quotes. Their labour price is the same but they add on too much time, 3.5 hours for brakes (Front & Back) instead of 2, and on this occasion added on even more time than quoted. After querying the price they refunded me the overcharge. It was also funny, that the brakes were not given as an advisory a few months before when in for an MOT. You are not getting a premium service for a premium price so definitely shop around, I could have driven to my family garage near London and not worked for the day and still save money.

I am the transport manager for a large company in Bury st Edmunds and Manchetts look after all our fleet of vans. I have always found them to be very honest and totally reliable. Dave in service department along with the rest of the team are fantastic to deal with and always go out of their way to solve a problem and help if they can. Dave will always discuss the cost of a repair first rather than just going ahead without discussing it first, which allows us to to make informed decisions about repairs.The recovery service is also very good. We have also used the crash repair service and the vehicle was repaired in a timely manner and was returned to us looking as good as new.All the staff are friendly and polite and I would highly recommend them.

My car experienced a worrying, intermittent fault that was difficult to pin down. Manchett's helped with recovery, courtesy car & (after a lot of work), a fix for the problem. Their service was top notch, everyone was really helpful, professional & proactive. Biggest thanks to David for all the work that went in, I really appreciated it

When they say it's a free retest I wouldn't believe them, prices are outrageous. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and used them lately bit being screwed over 4 times in the last half a year is beyond a joke now. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Had a broken rear seat in my car and wanted someone to have a look at it... Called this afternoon and was able to pop in after work, I arrived around 4:20pm and I'm out again by 4:50pm! All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and they fixed it there and then, free of charge! Very impressed with the service. I'm new to the area, so it's great to know there's a reliable garage nearby to go to. Many thanks!

My car broke down on the side of the motorway and I was on my own and don't know the area at all. I just want to thank Martyn, Mike and Holly at Manchetts for looking after me and making sure I got to my auntie's house an hour away safely. Mike got to my car really quickly and made sure I was safe. He ran some diagnostics and unfortunately the car could not be repaired at the roadside, however he stayed with me (even after his shift was finished) to make sure I wasn't on my own at the side of the road while the recovery vehicle came. I spoke to Holly on the phone and she was really kind and lovely, and also made sure help came quickly (I know I sounded very stressed!) Martyn arrived very quickly to recover my vehicle and drove me to my auntie's an hour away, even though he had already finished his shift for the day. I really cannot thank you enough for your amazing service, going above and beyond to make me feel safe in what can be a dangerous situation and also for your kindness. You made a stressful situation a lot better and I really appreciate it.

Very unhappy with their service. Had an MOT and service and in less than a month the car was non drivable. Had to wait for 4 days before the car was fixed. I don't trust them anymore.
