Zen Spa

I'm surprised at the bad reviews here. My partner has been here several times and has had no complaints. She has had waxes and facial treatments, and has always raved about Doris and the staff.We have today just had a pre wedding treatment, massage, facial and scrub. Also a manicure. Doris and her colleague stayed late to finish our treatment, not just 5 minutes, but well over half an hour. Not once were we made to feel rushed, or that they wanted us to leave.The treatment was fantastic, and I look forward to our next.In regards to a previous reviewer, I was also in the treatment room next to reception. Whilst being pampered from head to toe, and listening to the relaxing music; I can't say that I noticed the chatter or the phone. My focus was on relaxing, and I can assure you I did just that.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, bought my wife a gift voucher for here to have her nails done and despite my wife's best attempts to get booked in to cash in her gift voucher she is still waiting... now the individual who she was dealing with has blocked her number. Excuse after excuse given. If I could leave 0 stars and review I would , don't go here so unprofessional

Doris is amazing and kind. I told her what I needed and she told me what kind of message I should get and told me all the offers.

Just had another fabulous visit to Zen Spa, this time for a facial. Treatment, as usual, was excellent. Doris and her staff are all very friendly and efficient and I am always made to feel very welcome. The spa environment is very modern and relaxing and it is in an ideal location in the city centre. Doris has monthly special offers with great deals for various spa packages. I took advantage of this a couple of months ago and had a prescriptive facial, full body exfoliation, back massage and shellac nails for only £55! It was heaven! I would definitely recommend Zen Spa and I am really looking forward to my next visit! Keep up the good work girls!

I have been going to Doris at Zen Spa for over 10 years and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. I get my waxing, facials and have recently started lymphatic drainage massage.

Very lovely place to be! Doris has been doing my lymphatic drainage for a while now and I've seen so much improvement and my body pain has reduced drastically. She is kind, respectful and good at what she does.

Was looking forward to a body exfoliating massage, but after arriving we were told only females as there are no showers for males. They can't do a dry exfoliating due to the amount of hairs on the male body. A pity it wasn't picked up on the time of booking, but I had the back and head massage which was extremely relaxing and excellently done by the male masseuse. I would love to go back in the future and I would recommend giving it a go. Cheers!

Paid money in advance for a series of appointment. Was only given one and told I can’t get a refund even though she cancelled on me several times. Not reliable.I’ve just read your reply to my review. I’m disappointed that instead of using a costumer feedback to improve on your services, you indulge in criminal assassination of character, mischief and lies. Anyone that has used Zen spa services recently can attest to the fact that your service is appalling, characterised with frequent cancellation and reschedules. Importantly you hardly appologise for your actions or accept any responsibility. I would advise anyone reading this review to think carefully before making any payments for so called block sessions which are designed to defraud customers.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very attentive, friendly and skilled. I missed part of my appointment once and she gave the remainder of the appointment as a free session, a really kind and flexible lady. The experience is always calming and I love going here.
